Have you ever seen a person with a small arms gunshot?
It is not like the movies, you don’t get blood and gore and exploding body parts. Less than 50% of the time, a single 9mm hit will drop or stop a person. You have to hit the heart or a major bone to stop them.
It can take a half a dozen shots before the person drops.
+90% of chest shots from handguns do not exit and the entry wound closes up very fast.

It is not fake, but these are street performers portraying what life in Palestine is like. That is why the audience is so chill. I think this done in Turkey.

Yes I have, many times. What you describe is somewhat true with a “small” caliber, as you say; a .22 or .25 or even a .32 at times. But a 115 gr 9mm (.38 cal.) FMJ @ 1,200 fps from 2 feet? Believe me, there would be plenty of blood and it’s most probable it would sail right through the small girl and hit one of the people assembled so closely in a circle, who don’t seem worried about it.
The real thing happens daily, so we don’t really need a skit of it.
A 9mm (.38 cal) FMJ fired at 1,200 fps from 2 feet away would’ve gone right through her and hit someone who was standing so close in a circle. There would’ve been blood, FOR SURE!
ed note–you are correct Frederick, and my first thought upon seeing the video a month ago was that it was a fake. A 9mm fired at that distance would have penetrated the girl and hit someone behind her.

Very few people (if any) use FMJ except for target shooting. It is my understanding that even in USA, the police and other federal agents use Hollow point. (if not, why not?)
I have handled a number of shootings as a EMP and have only seen major bleeds from Head shots and minor bleeds from “Grazes”. Even abdominal wounds, the wound closes and most blood stays in the abdominal cavity. With clothing (and especially winter clothing as in this case) it is extremely difficult to find entry wounds or exit.
Check the Gel tests on 9mm, most rounds are designed to “not” kill bystanders (except in New York of course).
I am not saying that the incident is real and could well be “theatre” but you cannot conclude that from the victim.
(More conclusive is that there is no muzzle blast as far as I can see).
Whether or not this scene is real, it remains as historical fact that the Israelis have been killing unarmed Palestinians since the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948.
