ed note–if true (and sad to say, it probably is for the most part) what it reveals is as follows–

Whatever percentage of Americans holding such views, this is not of their own doing, but rather the doing of those with a vested interest in rousing the rabble through their own centralized control of information and of the attending narrative that then results in them attaining what it was they want.

In other words, it is the media that has colored the thinking of Americans towards favoring impeachment of Trump, and we all know who owns the media.

This is important for several reasons and on several levels, to wit–

The first is that it shows that in the almost 2 decades since 9/11–without a doubt THE defining political event of the last 20 years–that Americans today have not advanced as much as a millimeter in their understanding of the nature of the war being waged against them, who it is waging it and what their agenda happens to be. The very same people who pulled off 9/11 and then lied America into invading and destroying the Middle East for the benefit of Israel that has resulted in millions of deaths, the loss of freedom and the deaths of tens of thousands of American troops are the very same people now working on a minute by minute basis at pulling off ‘9/11 pt II’–the removal of a President who has made it his personal mission to remove an ever-tightening noose from the neck of the American nation, and the fact that the American people cannot (will not) see the active hand of those who are behind this act of slow motion/real time political assassination and–just as importantly–why they are actively involved in such business can only omen the worst.

Nearly 60 percent of U.S. voters surveyed say President Trump should be either impeached and removed from office or formally censured, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll released exclusively to The Hill.

The poll shows that a majority of voters polled think some kind of action should be taken against Trump, though they are divided on how far lawmakers should go as Democrats prepare to take over the House majority.

Asked whether Trump should be impeached and removed from office for his actions, censured by Congress or whether Congress should take no action, 39 percent of respondents said Trump should be impeached and removed from office.

Impeachment would require a majority vote by the House – a possibility with a Democratic majority, though leadership in the party have been cautious on the topic. Conviction in the Senate would require a two-thirds vote, something unlikely in a body that will have 53 Republicans.

Twenty percent of poll respondents said lawmakers should vote to formally censure the president.

Forty-one percent of respondents said Congress should take no action against the president, according to the survey of 1,473 registered voters.

The latest polling numbers are largely on par with past months, which saw the percentage of voters who believe Trump should be impeached and removed from office hover between 32 percent and 43 percent.

Meanwhile, the percentage of those who believe he should be censured has hovered between 14 and 22 percentage.

Likewise, the percentage of voters who believe that Congress should take no action has, for the most part, remained consistent, lingering largely in the low 40-percent range, according to past polling data.

The poll results come as Trump faces criminal investigations in both Washington, D.C., and New York related to whether his campaign coordinated with Russian officials and actors to help sway the 2016 presidential election.

At the same time, federal prosecutors implicated Trump earlier this month in a separate case related to payments made to two women to keep them quiet about affairs they say they had with him.

In a memo recommending a prison sentence for Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, federal prosecutors said Trump directed the payments to the two women to ward off a potential sex scandal as he sought the White House in 2016. Those payments, prosecutors argue, amounted to illegal contributions to the real estate mogul’s campaign.

U.S. voters are near-evenly divided on whether the payments warrant impeachment, according to the Harvard CAPS/Harris poll.

Forty-nine percent of voters polled said they favor trying to impeach Trump over the allegations, while slightly more – 51 percent – said that doing so would return the country to 1998, when then-President Clinton faced impeachment proceedings on two charges related to an affair with Monica Lewinsky, a former White House intern.

“When it comes to going after the president on campaign violations, a narrow majority of voters said it would be a repeat of 1998 when President Clinton was acquitted over charges he lied about sexual affairs,” said Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS/Harris poll.

U.S. voters are also evenly split on whether they believe special counsel Robert Mueller has uncovered evidence that Trump campaign officials coordinated with Russians during the 2016 election. Thirty-nine percent of respondents said they believe he has, while another 39 percent say that he has not. Twenty-two percent said they don’t know whether such evidence has been discovered.

Trump and his allies have accused Mueller and his team of carrying out a “witch hunt” intended to bring down the former real estate mogul, and have denied that any coordination took place between the campaign and Russia.

According to the Harvard CAPS/Harris poll, voters are also divided on just how long the special counsel investigation should continue, with 31 percent of respondents saying that it should end immediately and 32 percent saying that it should continue indefinitely.

Despite that split, a majority of U.S. voters surveyed – 59 percent – said that the special counsel investigation is “hurting the country,” compared to 41 percent that said it is “helping” it, the poll found.

“The flurry of post-election Mueller activity has not changed the basic dynamic that while they want Mueller to finish his work they see the investigations as hurting the country,” Penn said.

The Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll online survey of 1,473 registered voters was conducted from Dec. 24-26.

The Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll is a collaboration of the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and The Harris Poll. The Hill will be working with Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll throughout 2018.

Full poll results will be posted online later this week. The Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey is an online sample drawn from the Harris Panel and weighted to reflect known demographics. As a representative online sample, it does not report a probability confidence interval.

  1. Astonishing that after all this time, with the jew media showing its ass countless times, stupid Americans still can’t see it; that the 100% jew media is a lying propaganda organ of Rothschild jewry, who run all western nations.
America isn’t failing because of the lying jew media, or because jew NeoCons with their traitorous Shabbos Goy minions are embedded like ticks in Washington; it is failing because Americans are the most Fluoridated, stupid people on the planet. They’ve stepped into a pile of shit and don’t even know it as they track it all through the house & over the white carpet, and then wonder how it got there.
Rothschild jewry is like a pack of coyotes that have come across a car-hit deer with 4 broken legs. Stupid, naïve westerners with their corrupt, traitorous “leaders” are being eaten alive by the (jew) coyotes.
It really is incredible that Rothschild jewry has not even been identified as our mortal enemy and the perpetrator of all the world’s troubles, either creating them or exacerbating them for their own profit.

  2. President Trump is fast approaching his “put up or shut up moment”. Will there be America’s version of “Night of the Long Knives”? There better be or his enemies will not only destroy him but his entire family for generations much like they did to the Kennedy’s.

  3. One of his biggest mistakes was the way he handled the media at press conferences. He made them his enemy right off the bat. You really have to be crafty when dealing with the media. He made it personal with them. They went for his jugular after that. But one thing for sure. His press conferences have never been boring. They are really funny to me. He’s like…..
    Pointing to each reporter….
You- No you’re fake news… NEXT
    You- Yea you’re okay ask a question…
    You—I can’t understand a word you’re saying… NEXT
You– Nope you’re fake news too

ed note–LB,the media was to to destroy him before he had adopted anything close to an aggressive posture with them. They had gotten their marching orders IMMEDIATELY upon Trump announcing his intentions to seek the office. There was nothing he could have done short of not running at all. On the contrary, he is the first president to come along and make the american people understand that the media is their enemy, and everyday as they continue in their seek and destroy mission, he is validated in what he says.

  4. We will find out if the The Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll is wrong soon enough. Americans love the Bible = they win. Americans love “social justice” and TV=they win. The Government is loaded with War Profiteers hacks and identity politics obsessed people and well Jews. But there are an awful lot of angry people who don’t get poll questions. No one knows how many.

  5. looks like intentionally biased sampling in order to swing the undecideds.
how about harvard-harris statisticians put their money where their mouths are?
because, look at the vegas sportsbook line on the 2020 election, trump projected as runaway winner:

    Joe Biden +1400
    Bernie Sanders +1600
    Mike Pence +2000
    Cory Booker +2500
    Tulsi Gabbard +2500

    John Hickenlooper +3300
    Kirsten Gillibrand +3300

are vegas bookies in business of losing money?

  6. Dear Murican Mates.
Take heart. Remember when the polls said Trump count win nomination. Trump couldn’t win various states. Trump couldn’t win election.
Seems to me the moral of the story is conservatives are now trolling these polls.

  7. cant read odds
    well, cant read
    but
    at 2020 trump gets 68%
    minimum
    biden
will beg for something to grope

  8. if the democrats were smart witch we all know they aren’t there generaly closet racist and screaming bigots and hypocrites they would put there chips behind Tuslsi Gabbard who is anything but a normal democrat.I think she actually is honest. The Republicans who are arrogant buffoon prostitutes will keep trying to undermine Trumps efforts to do anything that make sense for the betterment of people in the US

  9. It’s a poll. The only reason it got coverage is in the expectation that people will fall into the consensus fallacy trap.
Notice the title, though: Majority of Americans POLLED want Trump impeached or censured. At no time do they actually claim that 60% of Americans want this. No way of knowing how many tries it may have taken the pollsters (or the organization(s) paying them) to get that number before publishing it. Outside of its propaganda purposes, the poll itself is pretty much useless information.
ed note–the fact that it is a poll that originated with an agenda-driven group does not negate or even nullify its importance. The House of Representatives, where the majority of US GOV business begins and takes place, was just handed over to Trump’s enemies, and this was done because the American people voted them in. No one should forget for a moment that the American people are the dumbest people on earth when it comes to the Jooz and the manner by which they operate the levers of power in the US and therefore no one should underestimate for a moment the dire implications associated with this poll.

  10. Kolo… Since I make no sense to you let me then clarify…
I also have a hard time understanding some folks views in here. You are likely not a Muslim, nor I would bet, hail from any where in the mid east, nor are related to any one in the mid east. I could be wrong but its just a feeling I get. Because if you were….
You might understand how a person such as I would be a tiny bit suspicious of an American President who right after entering office announces a band on Muslim immigrants trying to come here to escape the horrible wars STARTED AND FUNDED BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and AMERICA’S BABY ISRAEL HOMELAND FOR THE JEW AND THE JEW ONLY in Muslim countries.
You might understand if you were a Palestinian American or related to a Palestinian American why a person such as myself might be just a tad ticked off at an American President who stood up loud and clear and announced that E Jerusalem is now, with out doubt, the capital of “israel homeland for the jew and the jew ONLY” Something that no other American President ever did before him. They did every thing else in the world they could to help the “israelis” but they all stopped short of that.
    ALL EXCEPT PRESIDENT TWEETY BIRD!
Have I seen him yet do one single thing or achieve one single thing which might be the tiniest bit fair to the Palestinians at all in any shape or form? NO I HAVE NOT. Not one single thing.
All I keep hearing are wishes and dreams and guesses and estimates about how its all part of Trump’s grand scheme to “stick it to the Jews”. And how the Palestinians are going to “get something good too”. So far they have not got a single thing “good”. In fact Trump has given more to the “israelis” and nothing what so ever to the Palestinians. When HE DOES GIVE THEM SOMETHING THEN FOLKS LIKE YOU MIGHT MAKE SENSE TO ME TOO!
If and when he does do the things you are all claiming he’s “GOING” to do then I will be more than glad to come in here and sing the praises of all who kept saying “wait and see. Trump’s got a plan”.
Now all I am hearing is Trump wont be able to carry out his “plan” because the “israelis” are using their elections as an excuse to delay it.
Just more of the same old ziotarded jew dance, stall and two step.
So show me how your Mr Trump is better than Democrat or other Republican Presidents before him. Please show me how he has bigger Kahonas than all the others. When you show me that, when I see him actually stand up and say enough is enough then folks like you will start making sense to me too.
Basically what I’m hearing now is “well, he has to be careful because they’ll do a Kenedy on him then we won’t have any one “on our side at all”.
I will give President Trump credit for one thing I’ve seen him do since he entered office…
He is ending our military involvement in Syria. That was a gutsy move and a totally right one. But do I believe as some of you in here believe that he is doing it to leave “israel” in the lurch there by fulfilling that dream about how its part of his grand plan to “stick it to the Jews”? No not at all. The war is costing to much money. Thats it.
Lets see him put up a real effort to end all US aid to “israel” and the billions to all the surrounding Arab countries that are in contract with the US that as long as they receive that aid money they take no action against “israel” while it slaughters the Palestinians on a daily basis.
Thats billions to israel every year and billions more to the self serving Arab leaders who do nothing with the funds but line their personal pockets with them.
Add all that up that we’ve been spending on the “homeland for the Jew and the Jew only” for decades and decades and the cost is more than all our wars put together. At least show me something where he tried to do it and congress just would not let him. At least that would make me think that he’s making a real effort.
Show me one single President no matter if its Trump or Micky Mouse… show me one who ends this madness once and for all where “israel” is concerned and I’ll sing his praises here and every where else there is a podium to do so! Until then folks who are fans of Trump have shown me nothing but dreams.
When those dreams become reality…. As Elvis use to sing…. “A LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION AND A LITTLE MORE ACTION PLEASE. ALL THIS AGGERVATION AIN’T SATISFACTION IN ME!”
Then people like you and I will understand each other a little better.
No offense Mr or Ms Kolo.
    Peace out
    Ladybat
