After all these years of the 55 or so Islamic countries not a single one of them is democratic… and is unlikely to become one. Turkey, which is often bandied as a democracy is not. Turkey is a police state light with a dictator light Erdogan. Turkey has more journalists in jail than any country in the world. Turkey also has a tradition of oppressing minorities, starting with the Kurds who make up more than 20% of the population.
Millions of Islamic people have begged/and are still begging to be admitted to the West because of better economic conditions there. And now that they are in the West, they want to change Western culture and impose backward, oppressive ways while benefiting from economic conditions created by the West. I am not talking about the way they benefit from the welfare state. I doubt too many of Muslim people have returned to their Islamic homelands.
It’s natural that Westerns would oppose these Islamic people from changing what the West has achieved over millennia.
The logical thing is for Islamic people to change their ways, to adjust to the West or to return to their homelands where they can be, without pressure, Muslim 24/7 praying 50 times a day, if so they wish. I doubt that Western people will ask them to stay in the West.
There are countless mosques in Europe. There isn’t a single church or synagogue in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, etc. etc. Muslims in Egypt have been persecuting Christian Copts who are the original people of Egypt while Egyptian Arabs have their roots in the Arabian Peninsula. Everywhere you look in the Muslim world (Pakistan, Syria, Libya…) Muslims oppress Christian minorities… and then when they move to the West they wrap their wives/daughters in billowing bags, make them hide their faces–as if Christians were interested in seeing the faces of Muslim women.
