I hold this phone call against him as a mistake:
Vladimir Putin Telephones Sir Elton John
Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly reached out to British musician Sir Elton John after the latter said he wanted to discuss Russia’s stance on homosexuality.
In a post on his official Instagram page posted on Monday, Sir Elton thanked Putin for “reaching out and speaking via telephone with me today,” and said that he looked forward “to meeting with you face-to-face to discuss LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender] equality in Russia.”
Before picking up the phone Putin must have had some answers to these questions:
What good will it do? Will it convert Elton John into an advocate of Russia’s laws agains promoting homosexuality to children? Will it garner him favorable publicity in the West? And were his answers “yes” and “yes”?! With whom would Putin have a “face-to-face” dialog? With this guy?
“Last week, Sir Elton was in Kiev for the YES Ukraine conference, a pro-European meeting where he spoke about LGBT equality in the workplace. He also met with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and urged him to toughen Ukraine’s stance on LGBT discrimination, according to further posts on the star’s Instagram page.”
It makes one wonder if he felt he had too much time on his hands and asked one of the “twice blessed” for advice.

But then again, maybe the old lady lied. I hope so.

I think it’s OK….It shows Putin as a sophisticated man ,who is willing to talk to someone honestly ,with whom he disagrees.
Jews are incapable of that.
