Mark, could you please ask the Professor what his references are for his statement that the word ‘media’ comes from the ancient Aryan tribe – the Medes? I always thought the word media is a latin word (plural of MEDIUM). And its use nowadays is in line with its latin meaning.
About Egypt, the ancient Egyptians themselves referred to their land as Kemet/Kemit (also spelled Chemet/Chemit).
Apparently, it meant the Black Land (or the Land of the Black?) and this is where we derive the words chemistry and alchemy from.
