Due to the obvious risks and blowback associated with doing the kind of work we do here, using our real names, real faces, real voices, etc, and where it is somewhere between difficult and impossible for those of us operating at the center of the bull’s eye to enjoy the security and anonymity others take for granted, we therefore ask those benefiting from the work we do here to consider our needs by making some kind of contribution so that we can continue the war effort.
Thank you

I really miss the shows, hope you start doin them again.
MG, Have you looked at starting up a Patreon donation thingie ??? Ryan Dawson runs one – I kick in $2.00 a month. He actually only asks for a $1.00 There are lots of us out here who are really on the bones of our proverbials & $10, $20 or even more is just not an option but $4 or $5 a moth to 2 or 3 deserving sites I/we can do . . . .please take a look at setting one up. Think it’s primarily aimed at artists but truth tellers surely qualify. I will put in monthly if you decide to go with it.
Cheers
ed note—I appreciate the input, but the problem is not the method of raising donations but rather the mindset the pervades throughout much of this ‘movement’ where everything–including the sacrifices that those of us operating on the front lives have to make–should all be for free. The request for $ help that went out yesterday to over 6,000 people netted a grand total of 4 responses totaling less than $100.00, and as this ‘movement’ sinks deeper and deeper into its appetite for sensationalism and ‘odd knowledge’, the harder it becomes for people (such as those who work on this little endeavor) who try to keep the facts straight to make ends meet. It is a common theme I hear from others, people who a decade ago were considered the best and the brightest in terms of what this movement had to offer for their intellectual contributions, but who now are forced to compete with nutcases who pour deliberate disinformation into the wellspring of thought/disussion and who are rewarded handsomely for doing so.
The drama (trauma?) of what happened to MCP–clearly the best and brightest of what this movement is/was capable of producing–is instructive as to the nature of the problem. There are too many crazies in this thing pretending to have the answers to the problems we face but who actually pour more mud into already muddy waters, individuals such as Fetzer, Duff, Rense, ‘Dr’ K’, Anglin, and other assorted misdirectors and unfortunately, there are no ‘quality control’ standards within this movement that function in weeding this nonsense out to the detriment of all.
