As a German I was absolutely unhappy with the unlawful sending of troops to Syria. Now this retreat is a step in the right direction.
An ineffective system anyway like Iron Sieve – America withdrew theirs in October and the Spanish battery is still there.

You really think Turkey has gone out of its way to do this on its own – without a a green light from their master – remember the Americans telling the Turks where the SU24 was going to be?
