An advertising company announced on Thursday that it will take down an anti-Israel billboard in Chicago, following complaints from supporters of the Jewish state calling for a removal of the offensive sign.
The billboard, funded by the Seattle Mideast Awareness Campaign (SEAMAC), said “Boycott Israel until Palestinians have equal rights,” and included a link to stopfundingapartheid.org. The sign is part of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS), which is supported by SEAMAC.
The sign was posted by the Lamar Advertising Company on a major highway in the Windy City.
One Twitter user, who called the sign “racist,” posted the advertising agency’s phone number, encouraging people to call and demand the sign’s removal. Maya Roseman told Chicago’s CBS 2 she was “shocked” by the billboard.
“When you put up a billboard or a sign or an advertisement that says ‘Boycott Israel,’ it’s really a mask,” she said. “You’re really saying “boycott Jews.”
Lamar Advertising wrote on Facebook on Thursday that after receiving “a large number of social media comments and hundreds of telephone calls” concerning the billboard, it has decided to remove the advertisement “as soon as possible.” The company said it had tried contacting SEAMAC to “discuss the issues,” but received no response to calls or emails.
“It is important to understand that this is a message from SEAMAC and not Lamar Advertising,” the company added. “We think SEAMAC has a right to present their views and would also support the right of those who disagree with SEAMAC.”

The arabs who lived in Palestine “understood” they were “palestinians” only after the war of 1967. Before that, Judea and Samaria, together with Jerusalem, were occupied by Jordan, and Gaza was occupied by Egypt- but not a single arab thought of himself as of a “palestinian”.

Even though the vast majority of Palestinians have taught the world a thing or two about RESISTANCE in the teeth of the most barbaric ethnic cleansing and repression, there are a few traitors among them –some because they break down under torture/threats to their families, others out of base opportunism. The problem with that statement is simple; it is a lie. Palestine has been referred to as such for thousands of years. And the people who lived there were, and still are called Palestinians. This is an example of israeli fanatics once again blatantly attempting to reframe the debate using the age old ploy of rewriting history. The problem for israel is that at this late date, no one outside of israel believes this nonsense. In point of fact, it actually has begun to have the opposite effect, acting to solidify the growing indictment against the State of israel and its attempts at exterminating the Palestinian people.
So the obvious lie quoted at the top does then beg the question: Even if taken at face value, how does that in any way shape or form change the fact that the very same UN Mandate that created israel, created a specific geographical area specifically for the indigenous population generally referred to as the “Palestinians”. The term “Palestinians” was used by the UN in 1948 by the way. Land which israel has illegally stolen by force and arms. israel then systematically forced that indigenous out of their homes, off their lands and into what are today in effect open air prison camps. And Israel has been pouring hundreds of thousands of Jewish Israelis into those stolen homes and on to those stolen lands. All the while telling the world the lie that it occupying Palestine for security reasons when in fact it was for colonization and annexation.
The bottom line here for Israel is clear: If israel refuses to recognize the right of the Palestinian people to their lands as laid out by the same UN mandate that created israel, the world at large will no longer find it ever more difficult to recognize, let alone tolerate the ongoing war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide and Apartheid being carried out by israel. israelis are not special nor privileged people, either by virtue of their birth or religion. Such a reality has no place in the world of 2016. If israel persists in this delusion, it will ultimately be their undoing. That sobering conclusion isn’t based on my opinion, rather that of history.

Cindy. Yes. the reason these people have gotten away with so many crimes against humanity is because they have controlled the news media for time immemorial. In the years when they committed their most heinous crimes against humanity like in Armenia, Siberia Russia, Ukraine (The Holodomor), Germany and now Palestine there was no TV, Radio just started, no internet, and the few journalists who tried to expose the truth were mysteriously taken out of the picture. The lies about Germany and the Holo-Hoax we used to read them on the news paper but we never imagine they were controlled by the tribe.
Now with the development of the INTERNET, we can see right away the crimes Israel is committing in Palestine and many books have come up to light after 9/11.
