Annotated edition? Try new and improved- I’ll stick to the original edition.
Please remember only the edited these ” approved ” editions ,and truncated the writing .
The original editions the best of course …the Murphy Edition the best .
The best copy of Mein Kampf to read is the only ever WWII era official German-approved English translation of the time, the Stalag edition.

I do not think the new “Mein Khampf” shows the original version of the wonderful book. I read it in 1965 and after that I have read it again in English and Spanish. I have not read the last version but I guarantee you it has been adulterated like the Bible that has been adulterated many times ever since the Roman Catholic church has been infiltrated by all these diabolical influence of Judaism, Masonry, Jesuits, Illuminati, etc,,,
If the jews permitted it to be published and sold in Germany, you can bet it is chock full of lies, distortions and guilt-tripping of its intended readership. I wonder if they’d permit the original to be published and sold in Germany? Yeah, right.
From what I read the Jews managed a 75 year ban on the re-publishing of Mein Khampf. The publishing co. had historical researchers and scientists to insure an exact replication of Hitler’s writing and intent. I suppose that is why the ‘annotations’ are in footnote comments. Maybe the version you have read was the one that was not exactly as the original??
