Sadly PNAC ceased operations very early in the new century it was meant to promote, possibly as a result of willful misunderstandings on the part of ‘conspiracy theorists’ of their perfectly well-intentioned calls for a “catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor” to promote their exciting policies. Something, you guessed it, like IXXI. But happily, they reinvented themselves as the ‘Foreign Policy Initiative’ … co-founded in 2009 by Robert Kagan and William Kristol, two well-known luminaries of, I believe, Viking ancestry.
