Meretz members have withdrawn their petition again Rabbi Karim’s appointment, announcing that his affidavit is a great victory.

ed note–again, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, consider the implications associated with all of this.

At the center of it all was/is the opinion of this Rabbi that the rape of Gentile women by Jewish soldiers was permitted because it is sanctioned in the Old Testament, to wit–

‘When you go to war against your enemies, and the Lord your God gives them into your hand and you take them captive, and you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you desire to take her to be your wife and you bring her home to your house, she shall shave her head and pare her nails. And she shall take off the clothes in which she was captured and shall remain in your house and lament her father and her mother a full month. After that you may go in to her, but if you no longer delight in her, you shall let her go where she wants. But you shall not sell her for money, nor shall you treat her as a slave, since you have humiliated her.’ Book of Deuteronomy

…and, since the goal of the Jewish state during time of war is winning, anything that can be done to ‘lighten the load’ of those poor, beleaguered Jewish solders as they are busy shooting, bombing, and incinerating defenseless men, women, and children in Gaza, the West Bank or wherever is kosher.

But now, since the rabbi has ‘renounced’ this opinion, everything is okay.

And this is just the way it is with those suffering from the destructive effects of Jtosis, the inescapable mental disorder that inevitably arises out of prolonged exposure to Judaism. When they are ‘under the gun’ so to speak, all they need to is to lie and feign some ‘coming to Jesus’ moment, and all is forgiven.

Jeremiah in his prophetic book had a particular thing to say about this peculiarity within the Jewish community–

‘Although you wash yourself with an abundance of soap the stain of your guilt is still before me…As a thief is disgraced only when caught, so too is the house of Israel disgraced…they, their kings and officials, priests and prophets have turned their backs and faces against me…On your clothes men find the lifeblood of the innocent poor, and yet in spite of all this you dare to say ‘I am innocent!’…These people are fools, they do not know me…They are senseless children and have no understanding. They are skilled in evil and know not how to do good…Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem and look around and search her squares…If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth I will forgive this city…Among the the Jews are wicked men who lie in wait like men who snare birds…Their house are full of deceit, they have become rich and powerful and have grown fat and sleek and their evil deeds have no limit…They defend neither the orphans nor the poor, their prophets tell lies and the priests rule by their own authority and my people love it this way…From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain, prophet and priest alike, all practice deceit…The leaders dress the wound of these people as though it were not serious, and yet, are they ashamed of their loathsome conduct? No, they have no shame at all…They do not even know how to blush…No one speaks the truth…They have taught their tongues to lie and they weary themselves with doing evil…Do not pray for these people nor plead for them, because I will not listen in the time of distress…Do not pray for the well-being of these people, for I will not listen to their cry…Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague…The prophets of Israel, whom I have not sent nor to whom I have spoke, tell lies in my name…They are prophesying to you false visions and the delusions of their own mind, saying ‘No sword or famine will touch Israel.’

Israel National News

Meretz MK’s Zahava Gal-On, Tamar Zandberg, and Michal Rozin announced Sunday that they have decided to withdraw their petition to the Supreme Court against the appointment of Rabbi Eyal Karim to head the military rabbinate. The controversy around Rabbi Karim forced the postponement of the inauguration ceremony that had been scheduled for last Wednesday.

Their attorney, Uri Keidar, released a statement explaining their decision.

‘The petitioners hope that the Supreme Court’s clear declaration of values will continue to resonate in the IDF in general and the military rabbinate in particular. The petition has served its purpose. Under these circumstances, the petitioners will no longer continue the process,’ said the statement.

‘We won. Rabbi Karim has renounced his previous views, so there’s no longer any point to continuing the opposition.’

There was also speculation that, as a result of the state’s response and Rabbi Karim’s affidavit, the Supreme Court was expected to reject the petition in any case.

This decision paves the way for Rabbi Karim’s appointment to move forward.

  1. @TonyFromIN,
    “Dark and seductive”
That is exactly what Judaism is.
She an secret and unfaithful woman.
    She is Temptation and flesh.
You see her painted eyes looking and you see her subtle lips
    smile at you.
And she comes close to you and she kisses your ear and you hear her whisper,
“You understand me. Nobody understands me like you do.”
“Everyone else before you has mistreated and betrayed me.”
Yet this dark and seductive woman never tells any that she is knowingly filled with
    dysfunction and disease.
