J Street, Americans for Peace Now, T’ruah and the National Council of Jewish Women join drive motivated by Trump’s national security adviser’s hostility to Islam and his retweeting of an anti-Semitic tweet.

ed note–as someone who has spent more than a decade working to put out the fires of Judaically-engineered anti-Islamic hatred/propaganda, I am not thrilled with Trump’s pick of Flynn for NSA. Flynn represents the idiocy of the ‘Christian’ right who have bought into the Zionist narrative vis a vis Islam as a ‘violent’ religion and what makes it worse are obviously his credentials which give this lunacy a certain degree of legitimacy.

But Trump didn’t pick Flynn because he hates Muslims. He picked him because out of everyone in the field, Flynn is the one least inclined to start a war with Russia, the avoidance of which is priority numero uno as far as Trump and the powerful forces behind him are concerned. Likewise with Trump choosing Mattis for SoD–yes, Mattis says nasty things about Islam, but he has also said things about the Jewish state that indicate that he is not a died-in-the-wool Israel firster as were many of his predecessors. Furthermore, embedded within Trump’s description of Mattis as being ‘the closest thing to George Patton’ are all sorts of implications, not the least of which is that the Jews hate Patton for having turned on them and for having once referred to them as ‘lower than animals’, something that must have played a part in Trump’s choice of words in describing his choice for Sec. of Def.

Trump’s choices are limited and he must work with what is possible. It would be nice if he could just say what needs to be said and do what needs to be done, but history has already explained to all of us quite clearly that this is oftentimes just not possible.

In the meantime, all should derive a certain amount of personal pleasure in seeing Judea writhing in agony over Trump’s election and the choices he is making for the various cabinet positions.

Four liberal Jewish groups have joined a drive calling on President-elect Donald Trump to rescind the choice of Gen. Michael Flynn as his national security adviser, citing the general’s hostility to Islam and his retweeting an anti-Semitic tweet.

“He has written that ‘fear of Muslims is rational’ and said that ‘Islam is a political ideology’ and ‘a cancer’ that ‘hides behind being a religion,’ and continuously peddles the nonsensical fear of ‘Shariah law’ spreading in the United States,” said the letter signed by 53 groups, including J Street, Americans for Peace Now, T’ruah and the National Council of Jewish Women.

“On social media, he shared a blatantly anti-Semitic tweet,” it said, referring to an incident in August when Flynn was attacking Democrats for blaming Russia for stolen emails that embarrassed the party. He attached his comment to a tweet that said: “Cnn implicated. ‘The USSR is to blame!’ … Not anymore, Jews. Not anymore.” Flynn later removed and apologized for the retweet.

Flynn’s advocates say his experience battling radical Islamist militants in Iraq and Afghanistan, along with candor that has ruffled feathers in Washington more than once, makes him the kind of ally Trump needs on his national security team.

Flynn famously accepted payment from the pro-Kremlin RT television network and then sat at Russian President Vladimir Putin’s table at a gala in Moscow at a time when relations between Washington and Moscow were at their worst.

Another group signing the letter is the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, which combats religious coercion in the military. The group was founded by Mikey Weinstein, a veteran, after his children serving in the military came under pressure to convert to Christianity.
Also signing were an array of liberal and Christian groups, as well as veterans’ groups. J Street initiated the letter and helped lead the drive to find signatories.

  1. “Trump and the powerful forces behind him”
What needs to be done by these “powerful forces”, is to do the same thing to the Democratic party.
2 and a half years from now, when the primary season starts again, we need ‘another trump’ in the Dem primary field (Tulsi Gabbard?) to ensure that no matter who wins, these “powerful forces” will control both sides.
    Economic populism unites all sides.

  2. they probably are happy , jews will never tell you what they are thinking it is all part of their game
