ed note–this was not a ‘glitch’, a ‘faux pas’ or a ‘snafu’. As Trump has demonstrated from the beginning of his campaign, he uses Twitter and other social media in order to get a conversation started in a way that benefits his agenda and interests, and if need be, ‘adjusts’ it later after the SHTF. He wanted the word ‘Palestine’ put out there in order to convey the idea that it is a place whose name has already been carved into stone and into history and that he is going to do what is necessary in order to rein in the present apocalyptic situation
I would like to have even a shiver of anticipation or hope, but I’m the eternal pessimist on things Palestine. My hopes have been dashed thousands of times since 1964, and Trump shows me no even halting move to recognize and actualize the Palestinians’ need for justice, justice, justice. Need I write more than Kushner and Friedman?
The mere fact that his media spokesperson had to adjust the wording from “Palestine” to the “Palestinian Territories” speaks volumes. Mr Trump may think that he’s in charge but the reality is very different. America is an occupied territory too. If he means business he should start by cleaning house by removing all Zionists from his administration starting with his son in law.
