Well I don’t know what the Talmud would say in these circumstances. Is the Jew tainted by his association with the Gentile and therefore subject to Gentile lore? Or is the accomplice assigned temporary Jewish status and therefore subject only to Jewish lore? These must surely be the moral questions which the rabbinate is going to have to examine in hair-splitting detail in determining whether the Jew in question should or should not be extradited to the Gentile nation of Germany.
Because the Talmud itself would, under ordinary circumstances, exonerate the man. Indeed PRAISE the man! …
