Fox News opens series on the problems Hasidic Jews bring to the U.S. communities they enter

It’s not that these Hasidic communities are receiving benefits such as food stamps and other entitlements that is so horrendous, it is that their presence is abhorred by everyone else because the way they interact with other communities. Three neighborhoods in Brooklyn that are largely Hasidic -Boro Park, part of Williamsburgh and part of Crown Heights have all had negative interactions with members of all races. Even less religious Jews have a hard time with them. Just saw a short video about how Hasids are moving into the “Hood” in Jersey City, NJ. The neighborhood is primarily black, and these Hasids are trying to finagle the black folk out of their houses for a cheap price. The fact is -Jersey City is rapidly gentrifying -and the Hasids want to get their hands on the cheap houses by hook or by crook. Those black homeowners could hold out and wait for further gentrification and thus get a better price if they choose to sell – and not get bamboozled by the men in black. Boro Park will be a possible side show in a few years. The neighborhood is probably about 90% Hasidic, but they border Sunset Park, a neighborhood that has become one of the new China towns. The Chinese are not going to put up with Hasidic encroachment – in fact, don’t even dream of it happening.
