In regard to the comment by “Ozy” about Rome, I would agree. Before Christianity, Rome fought for what it perceived were its best interests. Since the advent of Christianity in Europe, Catholicism and then Protestantism have slowly been used as a weapon against Europeans. Europeans have been brainwashed to think it’s okay to roll over and play dead because that is the Christian thing to do even when the enemy has not only breached the outer skin but has insinuated itself so deeply into their veins, they can no longer tell the difference between their blood and the poison coursing along with it.

However, I would posit that Christianity–and in particular Catholicism, with its discipline and order–as much as it has undoubtedly contributed to the passivity of its adherents to what has been/is/always will be their mortal enemy, at the same time however has worked to inoculate its adherents against those behaviors which the eternal menace always attempts to inculcate into those whom it plans to destroy. Where the church was lacking however is in making it clear to its adherents that indeed this eternal menace was/is/always will be the source of these behaviors and who instead of being specific in the diagnosis, chose instead upon ambiguity and Old Testament mysticism by saying that aberrant behavior in society is all the fault of our ‘first parents, Adam and Eve’, rather than specifying that it was Jewish interests whose hand was behind these various programs aimed at the moral destabilization of Europe. I literally cannot count the number of instances where I was involved in a political discussion involving 9/11, the war on terror, and everything that was part and parcel of all of this, and after giving a detailed, well-researched and well-argued explanation involving Israel, Zionism, Islam, Mossad, USS LIBERTY, JFK, etc, those Catholics who were in attendance at said discussion rejected all the aforementioned facts and figures and instead said, ‘well, to me, what it all boils down to is man’s sinful nature and to the Garden of Eden.’

@dear Editor: I not only believe you but have witnessed the same responses over the years amongst Catholics, often from clerics, who USED to know better when they had proper Catholic formation, but whose knee-jerk reaction now is to blame “original sin.”
Years ago I told a co-worker that I thought the Jewish attempts at subversion and control of the narrative began from the moment news spread that the women had been to Jesus’ tomb and found it empty. I wrestled with that thought for years, but I have always come back to it. (“Never let a crisis go to waste.”) Was Paul “THE” “Apostle” or a really good marketer? As a Catholic, I’m supposed to accept it all on faith, and not posit that type of question. But if the Torah could be included in the Catholic Bible, what other “compromises” may have taken place at all those closed door church councils.?
To my mind, and at this stage of my life, I’ve begun to think the Garden of Eden story is actually about the “birth” of a psychopathic TYPE of human that hadn’t existed before, one that has been and continues to be literally hell bent on the destruction of all human types that are not psychopathic and psychotic. How that “birth” occurred could very well have been through some type of genetic engineering. I think there is more history and information that has purposely been hidden from us than is revealed to us.
I know that may sound ‘off the rails’ to some, but because the deleterious effects of the activities of this psychopathic type of human have been so far-reaching over many thousands of years, I find it increasingly difficult to think that these effects are due mainly to what normal humans think is cult-like indoctrination. To me, this seems to amount to much more than a group of people living under a set of spells and their knee-jerk carrying out of commands once a given series of words are uttered or the proper symbols are written and passed along to them.
Of course, this is all conjecture on my part, and no one is going to hand me the proof. Perhaps that’s why we Catholics have been told we must take all we’ve been told as Gospel and believe it all on faith…
