How is it that there are such vengeful verses in the Book of Psalms?
ed note–again ladies and Gentile-men, one of the most important OpEds flitting around on the internet today that should be read, digested, and discussed on every major radio talk program and from every church/mosque pulpit in the world, but which–sad to say–won’t get as much as the slightest, yawning glance of notice except on 2 websites–the nutter in Israel where it originally appeared, and right here.
In Stephen King’s apocalyptic novel The Stand, the reader is introduced to the dark character ‘Harold Lauder’ who, by story’s end, is on his own personal mission of revenge and murder against those whom he perceives have wronged him in life. In helping organize his thoughts and formulate his plans for this mission, he writes everything down in a diary that he keeps hidden away.
Fran, one of the characters targeted for murder, finds the diary, discovers what it is that Harold intends to do and makes this fact known to the rest of those living under his death sentence.
Rather than recognizing/acting upon the existential threat that Lauder poses to them as a group in a timely fashion however, they drag their feet, not sure of what to do next, hemming and hawing over ‘this’ course of action and ‘that’ course of action, until–
–Harold ‘beats them to the punch’ by blowing up the house in which they are all assembled, killing several and severely wounding the rest.
Obviously, hindsight is always Kristol Clear in the aftermath of tragedies, and ESPECIALLY those that could have been avoided with just a small amount of prevention/pre-emption, the lamentations always being some version of–
…If only we had known…If only we had known…
–When in fact it is rare that the ‘signs’ of that impending tragedy weren’t there from the very beginning if people had just bothered to care enough about their own skin and that of their loved ones.
Which brings us to the year 2023, a time when a certain mentally-ill sub-stratum of humanity with a collective ‘personality’ mirroring that of ‘Harold Lauder’ are on the same mission–mass murder–against those they believe have harmed them, the followers of Judah-ism and the ‘children of Israel’ as they love to refer to themselves.
Like Harold, they love to write things down in their various ‘diaries’, and not just as of late, but going back thousands and thousands of years, and what they write down could not be more Kristol Clear in terms of what they are planning to do with the rest of us.
Unlike Harold however, they don’t bother to hide this diary.
In fact, they put it out there as part of the public record, confident of the fact that those living under their death sentence will not bother to read it, and if they do, will not understand the extent of the deadly threat posed to them.
Which brings us to right here, right now, and the diary entry below scribed by our deranged and dangerous Hebraic author which–as already discussed above–will not get the ‘attention’ that it warrants by those same Gentiles presently living under this Judaic death sentence.
Now, there are a million different things that can be written and said about the contents of this piece, and even though we could indeed engage in all the usual business of dissecting the madness that pervades the entirety of what this deranged follower of Judah-ism has written, we will instead just boil it all down to a few very simple and easy to understand maxims and ‘protocols’.
The followers of Judah-ism, the ‘children of Israel’ as they love to refer to themselves, ARE NOT LIKE OTHER PEOPLES. The dark, dangerous and deranged philosophy that electrifies their thought processes and animates their behavior is like nothing else in human history. What’s worse is the fact that for reasons not entirely understood at this moment, they possess an intelligence that surpasses the typical, run-of-the-mill psychopath who is on his own personal mission of revenge and murder, and not just of the ‘Harold Lauder’ variety out to kill a mere handful of people, but rather millions and even BILLIONS.
The other point to keep in mind is the fact that these ‘prayers’ for revenge against ‘Babylon’ and ‘Edom’ described by our dangerous and deranged Hebraic author/follower of Judah-ism are recited EVERY SINGLE DAY and have been–not for weeks or months, but literally, for thousands of years–ever since the days of Moses.
For those ‘not in the know’, ‘Babylon’ is modern-day Iraq (destroyed in both Bush wars) and ‘Edom’ is modern-day Europe, specifically ‘Rome’, against whom the followers of Judah-ism nurse an unquenchable hatred and whose destruction the ‘children of Israel’ have been planning now for 2,000 years.
But it is not just in the book of ‘Psalms’ (which brain-drained Christians of EVERY STRIPE AND CONFESSION quote ad nauseum, believing that it is a ‘holy book’ rather than what it actually is, i.e. a diary entry promising the future destruction of Gentiledom) but as well other ‘holy books’ devoted to various ‘prophecies’ which the followers of Judah-ism have crafted indicating what it is they intend to do to the Gentile world, to wit–
‘On Mount Zion there will be deliverance and the house of Jacob will reclaim its possession…Then the house of Jacob will be a blazing fire, and the house of Joseph a burning flame and the house of Esau (Edom) will be reduced to mere stubble, for Jacob will set it ablaze and consume it and no survivor will remain from the house of Esau, for the LORD has spoken…’
As well as–
‘Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples. Judah will be besieged, as well as Jerusalem. And on that day, when all the nations of the earth gather against her, I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples, and all who would heave it away will be destroyed…On that day, declares the LORD, I will strike every horse with panic, and every rider with madness and I will strike with blindness all the horses of all the Gentile nations…’
AS WELL AS–
‘On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among the sheaves; they will consume all the peoples around them on the right and on the left, while the people of Jerusalem remain secure and on that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem…’–Zechariah 12
Of particular interest to the Gentile reader with a vested interest in his/her own future survival is the following that appears in that same ‘prayer of vengeance’ otherwise known as Psalm 137 which reads thus–
Remember, O Lord,
Against the people of Edom on the day of Jerusalem;
Remember O Lord those who said, ‘Lay it bare,
Bare to its foundations!’
–And recall what it was that Jesus Christ said concerning the coming destruction of Jerusalem when He told His apostles that the city would be leveled to the ground, not ‘one stone lying upon another’.
In other words, when the followers of Judah-ism pray every day for vengeance against those who said ‘lay it bare, bare to its foundations’, they include in this the person of Jesus Christ and–just as importantly–His followers today, the ‘Christians’.
Indeed, as events are proving on a daily basis, ‘Harold’ is going to get his revenge upon all of us, whether it is by nuclear war, plagues, economic/social collapse or a combination of them all, and what’s worse is the fact that whoever lives through it will indeed engage in the inevitable lamentations of–
…If only we had known…if only we had known…
–When in fact the plans for this disaster were sitting there as an open diary and an open conspiracy for thousands of years, and yet, the Gentiles, without any regard for their own skin or for that of their loved ones, refused to read it for themselves.

Question–The end of Psalm 137 (‘Al Naharot Bavel’) says, ‘Blessed is he who takes and shatters your infants against the rock’ about those who destroyed the Temple. How can the Psalm say something so offensive and vengeful?
Answer–Psalm 137 is a sad reflection of how bitter it was for the remnants of the Jewish people to be in Babylon and suffer under the harshness of the regime.
Imagine how the enemy taunted them: ‘Go on, sing one of your Jewish songs!’
What heartache is expressed in the verse, ‘How can we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land?’
No wonder the people pledged to themselves and to God that they would never forget their Jewish identity, and prayed that in the Day of the Lord Babylon would be destroyed.
How many times over the last 2000 years did Jews echo this psalm?
What a tragedy it is that now that Jews can freely live a Jewish life in Israel, and yet so many have gotten used to life in the Diaspora…
What a pity that it is resurgent antisemitism that is making European Jews interested in Aliyah….
The last verse of the Psalm is not a statement of religious dogma, but part of a poem, and no-one has to automatically applaud the poet’s phraseology.
It is one of several so-called psalms of vengeance, and in each case the idea is that those who commit wrongs against us will one day get a dose of their own medicine. Hence if the Babylonians were cruel to Jewish children, their own children will eventually suffer.
This may not be the noblest of sentiments, but it is the anguished cry of a people undergoing horrific suffering.
PSALM 137
By Babylon’s rivers,
There we sat, we wept
When we thought of Zion…
Upon the willows in its midst
We hung up our harps –
For there our captors asked us for song,
Our tormentors wanted mirth:
‘Sing us one of the songs of Zion!’
How can we sing the Lord’s song
In a strange land?
If I forget you, Jerusalem,
Let my right hand wither;
Let my tongue stick to my palate
If I do not remember you, and if
I do not place Jerusalem
Above my best joy.
Remember, O Lord,
Against the people of Edom the day of Jerusalem’s fall…
Remember O Lord those who said, ‘Lay it bare,
Bare to its foundations!’
O city of Babylon,
Doomed for destruction –
Blessed is he who treats you
As you have treated us.
Blest is he
Who takes and shatters your infants
Against the rock.
