Israeli occupation forces conducted airstrikes on Gaza City and Khan Yunis in the southern part of the region on Saturday. The Ministry of Health reported an increase in the number of Palestinian fatalities since the beginning of the Israeli aggression to as many as 31,000.

Media sources reported that two individuals were killed and more than 10 others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting a family home on Al-Jala Street in Gaza City early this morning. Additionally, four more casualties were reported in an Israeli shelling on the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.

Al Jazeera obtained images showing civil defense personnel trying to retrieve victims’ bodies from the debris of the destroyed house. Civil defense teams expressed challenges in extracting all victims due to resource limitations, with approximately 9 individuals still unaccounted for beneath the rubble.

In the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, a Palestinian was killed, and others were injured due to Israeli shelling.

Simultaneously, reports said Israeli forces opened fire on a Palestinian fisherman in northern Gaza, resulting in his martyrdom.

In the early dawn hours, Israeli warplanes targeted the 12-story Egyptian Tower, the largest tower in Rafah, southern Gaza, with four airstrikes, destroying two-thirds of the building.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the casualties of the Israeli war on Gaza have now reached 30,960 martyrs and 72,524 injured since the start of the aggression on October 7th of last year.

The ministry revealed that Israeli forces committed 10 massacres in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, resulting in 82 martyrs and 122 injuries. It emphasized that some victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, with Israeli forces preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Friday evening the death of three children at the Shifa Medical Complex due to malnutrition and dehydration. This brings the total casualties from malnutrition and dehydration since October 7th to 23 martyrs in Gaza.

Due to the ongoing war and Israeli restrictions, residents of Gaza, especially in Gaza and northern governorates, are on the brink of famine. There is an extreme shortage of food, water, medicine, and fuel, with approximately two million Palestinians displaced.

The continuous Israeli war on Gaza has resulted in tens of thousands of civilian casualties, mostly children and women, leading to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and extensive infrastructure destruction.
