State Attorney Amit Isman decided to call off the case against the five due to the high chance of ‘false confessions and mere bragging’

ed note–and we are supposed to believe that the Jewish State, driven by its ‘Jewish ethics’, is willing to drop criminal prosecution of what was a clear case of murdering a man who had been bound hand and foot, but somehow there is a credible case being brought against Netanyahu for ‘corruption’ over some cigars and champagne?

The more important aspect of the story however is how it relates to something which Jesus Christ said viz the manner in which ‘a house being divided against itself cannot stand’. The Jewish state is the ‘state’ of the ‘Jewish’ people, and what makes them ‘Jewish’ is their adherence to Judah-ism itself, which is very clear on the manner in which the adherents of this violent theology are to deal with the non-Judah-ites in their midst, to wit–

‘When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are to possess and drives out the many nations larger and stronger than you, and when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. Do not save alive anything that breathes, for you are a people holy to the Lord your God who has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession…’ –Book of Deuteronomy

Therefore, when the ‘Jewish State’, which is governed by ‘Jewish Law’ as determined by Judah-ism itself, instructs its people to–

‘Destroy them totally, make no treaty with them, show them no mercy, and save nothing alive that breathes…’

–How then is it supposed to ‘prosecute’ its citizens for their obediently fulfilling what it is that they are EXPLICITLY commanded to do by the ‘higher law’ that governs the ‘state’, meaning their violent, anti-Gentile religion?

Israel’s state attorney on Monday dismissed an investigation against five men who murdered a bound Palestinian they kidnapped in the aftermath of the Hamas-led 7 October attacks.

Despite video evidence and admissions of guilt from the suspects, Amit Isman dropped the investigation citing ‘low credibility of the confessions, which are likely just bravado’.

The five men, identified as Roi Yifrach, Israel Biton, Akiva Kaufman, Israel Peretz and Saar Ofir, have been subject to investigation since November 2023.

They were suspected of abducting a Palestinian man who they alleged was an elite Hamas fighter who participated in the 7 October attack.

Ofir had claimed during an interrogation in November 2023 that Yifrach, the main suspect, showed him a video where he was stabbing a bound Palestinian’s face, killing him.

At the time, four judges issued search warrants after concluding that there was reasonable suspicion of a murder occurring.

Yifrah confessed to the police and in WhatsApp messages sent to others that he had killed ‘terrorists’ outside of combat.

Ofir also confessed in WhatsApp messages to having killed ‘terrorists’ after allegedly torturing them both sexually and physically.

Ofir, a settler from the Elkana settlement in the occupied West Bank, was also involved in another case where he and two other Israeli officers were charged in December 2024 with violently assaulting and beating a Palestinian man in August, abducting him before leaving him unconscious and bleeding near a checkpoint.

Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court issued an arrest warrant against Yifrach, Biton and Ofir, determining that there was a reasonable suspicion of murder.

All of the suspects involved in the killing denied that they killed the victim without the Palestinian posing a threat. Ofir said he sent the messages only ‘to brag’.

According to Maariv, the investigations showed contradictions in the suspects’ stories, leading the state attorney to close the case, citing ‘lack of sufficient proof’ to charge them with murder.

However, according to the evidence, Yifrach confessed to the killing, the body of the victim was found in his vehicle, and a video which showed him hitting the Palestinian was also found.

The state attorney decided to close the case as he believed that Yifrach’s confession was false and done out of a desire to ‘show off his contribution to the war effort’, according to Maariv.

In late July, nine Israeli soldiers were arrested for raping a Palestinian detained in Sde Teiman, a facility in southern Israel’s Negev desert.

The incident created a backlash in Israel, with a far-right mob that included an MP and minister storming the detention centre and a military court in protest against the arrests.

Five of those detained were released to house arrest on Tuesday, pending a potential decision by the army to file indictments.

According to a recent poll, a majority of Israelis believe the prison officials accused of sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee should not face criminal charges.
