Anyone who calls what happened between the North and the South the “Civil War” is ignorant.
A civil war is where two opposing forces struggle for control of a nation or a government.
The South just wanted to secede and escape from the unjust tariffs and economic policies imposed on it by the industrial North and its boy Lincoln. Lincoln said he just wanted to preserve the “Union”
whether a slave was freed or not. The “Union” was like a marriage preserved by a husband chasing a runaway wife and dragging her back into the house by her hair.

So if you are so all fired sure that you and yours has the right to decide whether or not confederate flags or swastikas are acceptable in public you damn well better support taking down all the Israeli flags as well. And any other symbols that anyone feels offended by.
You do realize that you are demanding that the American people give up their right to free speech. And don’t tell me that “hate” speech (as defined by whom?) isn’t protected because it sure as hell is. Here is the first amendment in its entirety. And there is NOTHING regarding limitations, exceptions or limitations, let alone “hate” speech which apparently is anything you decide it is. Your arrogance and ignorance is beyond all comprehension.

I realize that the Judicial branch has rewritten this amendment in terms of their rulings. But ultimately the courts are not the Supreme law of the land; rather the Constitution and the will of the people.
I loath today’s musicians; they never write protest songs anymore, especially about the terrorists occupying Palestine. Far too few will refuse to play in Israel. They’ve done NOTHING to promote consciousness among their millions of fans about Israeli apartheid. They’re as useful as a screen door in a submarine. Musicians are the biggest pussies! Led by the biggest Puss of them all, Paul McCartney, on his second Jew wife. His silence over Israeli crimes is deafening!
Think of the difference all these musicians could make. They’ve already made it; so what’s the fear?

But I am particularly outraged by Tom Petty -a so called “son of the South ” I have his LP.s one song =Rebel has him wailing about injustice done by the North “Blue bellies ” to the Confederates that is now shown to be all sly talk to gain sympathy with the South and increase the sales of his records there . In other words his ideals are money not people.
Well considering that there are more southern people who seem to believe that if they don’t bow down and kiss Jew ass they are going to hell than any other people on earth then you’ll have to excuse me for not being very impressed with the south these days. Nearly every southern American I speak to supports the apartheid ethnic cleansing zionist state of “israel”. This is because the majority of southern Americans follow the Evangelical religion which has done nothing for them but make them into brain dead retarded people.
I used to love the south but after 9-11 I saw the true colors of southern citizens who show more loyalty for israel and Jews than for their own country including their own southern states where they live. What in the world has israel done for the south? Nothing but take their support and money then laugh behind their big fat fried pork eating brain dead asses.
Ask your average southerner what they think of our government’s support for israel and listen to their stupid answers. To the average southerner you are going to hell if you are not a Jesus fearing, israel loving, Republican.
Not all southerners are brain dead zionist slave zombies. But those of you who are not are in the minority of Southern citizens of the United States of “israel”. And since your majority is not helping our situation one bit when it comes to the ziotardation of our nation then southerners can hardly bash Tom Petty for his decision for rethinking what the confederate flag means to people in our current times.
And not all music song writers and performers are spineless idiots. Take a look at Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters. He has taken a huge public stand against “israel”. So has “Cold Play”. And there are others. But lets face it folks. If you were faced with loosing your job forever, your way of life and your trade and lively hood forever, which feeds you and your family, your life’s work, the only work you know or have ever known….
Could you give that all up to take a public stand? Its easy to say yes when you are not the one called to make that sacrifice. For those who do make it they are exceptional human beings who get nothing for making that sacrifice other than suffering inflicted upon themselves and their families.
That is why there are very few exceptional human beings in the world.
I thank you ladybat2 for the “enlightenment ” of the Southern States I did not know it was as bad as that literally. Many of the prominent contributers on the Rebel website of which I am a poster and contributer on are from the South and like you are pretty scathing of their fellow Southerners also I know several intellectuals /Professors who have lost their jobs for speaking out about 9/11 for example . But I will stick with Tom,s point that the Majority of new singers know which side their bread is buttered on . You say there are not many people in the World who will make the sacrifice you say , well in your words at least one exceptional human being in this World is the Rebel (Australian ) of the Rebel Website ,he has just said him and his family are down 1 Million $$$$ over the years as that is how much he could have made in the computer software/design business and what does he get ?? -cut to pieces on the Jewish INTERNET -attacked constantly (something I know personally about ) but it hasnt stopped him starting a Jew -Free banking system gravely upsetting World Jewry so watch out for him being “nuked ” by the Jews via the NSA/GCHQ for his troubles .
Duncan, I did not say there are NO exceptional people in this world who are willing to make the supreme sacrifice. I said there are very few. The average human being is just not wired that way. In the entertainment field you know as well as I do who has all the power and control. I’m only saying that its easy for those of us who are not employed in that field to demand those who are to grow a pair of balls for the rest of us and make the sacrifice that the rest of us probably could not nor would not make ourselves. I’m only reminding my kindred spirits in here to think really hard about that before they cast stones at those who are being tested harder than the rest of us are.
Ask yourselves…. if it were you…. if you had what they had….. could you or would you have the balls to risk it all and be the hero the world needs so badly?
Because most heroes have happy endings. Do they?
The only way that sad fact will change is if WE ALL, AS A MAJORITY OF THE HUMAN RACE, GROW ONE HUGE SET OF BALLS.
Then the supreme sacrifice is shared by us all. Not only carried by those few exceptional human beings like your Australian friend.
But in the case of the average southern American Evangelical sheep dog citizen…. it does not even take a supreme sacrifice to make the change our nation AND THE WORLD needs so badly. It just takes them demanding their churches and preachers no longer support zionism, and its bastard creation “israel” land for Jews and Jews only. No southern American need loose any thing for doing that. Because they have nothing to loose any way like people in the entertainment field have to loose.
The only thing it takes is for them to wake up and stop believing the crap their stupid preachers are feeding them. That crap being that they are God’s elected sheep dogs. That their job is to herd all Jews all over the world into Palestine so that when Jesus returns he won’t have to go chasing them down all over the world to give them their “spanking”.
