Vandalism of any kind is wrong but what people need to understand is Israel is not sacred land. It is not sacred to God, it is not sacred land over there and it is just plan misunderstandings of what the gospel teaches.
TIME PAST – Hebrews 1:1,2
“GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the
fathers by the prophets, (2) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son,
whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.”
Let’s break this down: We see prophets who were pointing to Christ who were
pointing to what he had done and what the future was. So far simple and it was
confirmed in John 18:36. This was the promise that was made to Abraham and
Abraham’s seed (Romans 4:13, 14). Again, simple to understand.
Now, we come to those who go to Joshua 21:43, 45 and things get a little
confusing. “And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give
unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. (45) There failed
not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of
Israel; all came to past.” Did Israel receive the promised land and are they in
that promise land today? Now, let’s look at Hebrews 11:8-16 and verse 16 tells
us: that now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly:”
So is Israel back in the land that God promised (Genesis 13:15)? Yes, but it is
NOT a physical land. It is a spiritual land and Gods people are standing there.
Scriptures tell that all came to PAST. All has been accomplished. Who then is
Israel?
Romans 2:28, 29(Galatians 6:15,16); “For he is not a Jew, which is one
outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: (29) But
he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the
spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” This is
telling us that when you are in Christ the flesh will perish and you have become
renewed: 2 Corinthians 4:16 (Galatians 4:19/2 Corinthians 3:3). You are Spiritual
Israel. SIMPLE!
In time past there was a physical land of Israel. Under Christ you are under a
new covenant and a new name: Isaiah 65:15/Galatians 6:15/Isaiah 62:2/Isaiah
48:1.
Why are you concerned with the physical land of Israel when God is pointing to
the new covenant? Jesus warned us of the future tricks of Satan: Matthew 24:4.
