one has to also remember that there is nothing like Judeo-Christianity. There is a Christianity.
Christ made a New Covenant with people. All people. The Old Convenat became invalid.
The veil of the Temple in Jerusalem was torn, from top to bottom ,at the moment of Christ’s death as a SYMBOL that the Old Covenant ceased to exist. The new Covenent took place of it. Later, ( 70 AD) the temple itself , as predicted, was destroyed by the Romans.

Having said that, nevertheless we have to be ratiolnal here–The Old Testament is a BOOK, nothing more. It did not fall out of the sky from heaven. There were none who witnessed a giant hand come out of the clouds, handing to people to read and understand.
Not only is it a book, it is a JEWISH book. It is their roadmap, their calculator, recipe book, etc. Everything that a person needs to know in understanding the Jewish mentality is found within the Old Testament.

The OT was the worst curse ever to befall humanity. No, the O.T .is dealing with humankind entangled in SIn, Sin that
exists since the first man, Adam defied God’s order and in a way
cursed the whole humankind with the original sin. ( read B. Pascal’s

Christ came on Earth to free our poor, miserable souls from this
‘curse’ of the Original sin, which prevents the souls from enetering

The history written in The O.T. is the history of the so- called Old Israel,
the Old Coventant that God made with His ‘chosen’ people.
Christ made this Old Covenant invalid and made the New , Everlasting
Covenant with his People, the people of the Catholic Church, the New
Israel, His ‘chosen’ people. BUT , one has to remember and this is
VERY important ,that ‘ Choseness’ in God’s eyes mean SERVICE, means
sacrifice of one’s life to Him, means suffering, ( look at the lives
of apostles and Catholic saints and martyrs) .
It does NOT give special privileges but it gives special duties.
It is not about being proud ,but about being humble, humble before

disobeyd God and rejects/disobeys the teaching of His Son.
Only the tiny Remnant of the Old Israel believed that Jesus was the Messiah,

there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church, and that the
V-2sect that eclipsed the Catholic Church IS the anti-Church, the
Counterfeit Church predicted in the Apocalypse of St John.

A: those are the so -called Miracles ( something that can not be
explained in a rational way) and even they do not ( did not) convince
unbelievers. We don’t ‘heal the blind people”. We don’t have the
power to perform miracles ( although many saints and apostles did but
that requires an enormous, true faith and God’s grace).

A: Jesus came into this world with one, major Mission, to save us from
the effects of the orginal sin. His purpose was to die for us, for
all, all sinners.
His preaching was only one aspect of His presence/Incarnation, His
main task was to sacrifice Himself at the altar so the gates of Heaven

A: you are correct. He did made a New Convenant with people. All
people,including Gentiles. That;s why he made the Old Covenant , the
so- called Mosiac Law invalid. But, mind you, at the beginnig of His
mission He mostly taught and performed miracles to the people of

‘By their fruits, you shall know them’–the fruits of the Jews–acting in accordance with the writings and examples of their prophets, forefathers, etc, have always been bad, the final nail being the events of Crucifixion Friday, 33.ad. The fact that Jesus may have quoted from the OT in making his case before the jury should not be used a ‘proof’ of His endorsement of what was in it. When I debate with Americans who suffer from an anemic understanding of the kinds of modern day political problems we are experiencing, I will use various parts of the US Constitution to make my point, even though I myself see it as a flawed document (at best) that has been responsible for creating/nurturing the monster residing in Washington DC right now.
At some point, if there is time, thinking people are going to have to choose between faith and fact. I myself am still a follower of Jesus Christ, even moreso now that I understand better the nature of the evil forces against Him then/now. People trying to reconcile the old with the new are doing exactly what JC Himself condemned–pouring new wine into old wineskins, and the disaster He Himself predicted would result from doing so is unfolding before the eyes of the world right now.

The OT is Jewish and is full of crimes and blood. The new Testament is the word of Jesus. I despite the OT.
