Denying US allegations it already has soldiers on the ground, Moscow says it’s willing to bolster Assad’s forces if asked

ed note–all can be rest assured, that not only has this option–direct Russian military assistance to Syria–already been discussed/decided upon, it was done YEARS ago, underscoring yet again how dangerous this situation has become for every man, woman and child on the planet.

Moscow said Friday it would consider any request from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to send troops, as Washington frets over an alleged Russian military buildup in the war-torn country.

“If there is any request then it would naturally be discussed and evaluated through bilateral contacts and dialogue,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying by Russian news agency RIA Novosti.

“But it is difficult to talk about this hypothetically.”

The United States says that Russia — one of Assad’s last remaining allies — has covertly deployed troops, artillery units and tanks to Syria.

Moscow says it is sending arms to Syria under existing contracts but denies bolstering its forces in the country.

Putin has provided vital support to Assad throughout a popular uprising against his regime and as the conflict has metastasized into a brutal civil war that has killed 240,000 people and displaced four million.

US officials have expressed fears Russia may strike Western-backed rebel groups battling Assad and ultimately risk a confrontation with forces fighting the Islamic State (IS) group.

Moscow has been pushing for a broader coalition of forces to take on IS, but key Western and regional players have ruled out fighting alongside Assad.

Russian news website Gazeta.ru reported on Friday that some Russian soldiers were disputing possible orders to be sent to Syria.

The outlet quoted a soldier named Alexei as saying that troops had been deployed to a southern Russian port city without being told where they would be shipped to and were expecting to be deployed to Syria on only a verbal order.

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin has no knowledge of complaints by soldiers to its human rights council.

  1. Remember, It was Syria who requested Russian support. They are partners in fighting the west’s proxy army. ISIS.
The USA, on the other hand, WERE NEVER asked by Syria to enter Syrian airspace and “bomb ISIS” (actually, the US is just bombing Syrian infrastructure and refineries).
Yet more war by other means……….

  2. “…The author called attention to the fact that the Bush administration PLANNED to invade Syria in 2006, encouraged by its Middle Eastern allies, most NOTABLY , Israel.
However, the White House deferred the invasion since it could not find an alternative for the Syrian regime of Assad. Meanwhile, the SAUDIS started to fund “a ragbag of bloodthirsty jihadist fanatics under a dozen different names” including the notorious Islamic State.
These jihadi thugs WERE TRAINED AND ARMED by the US, Britain, and France in Lebanon
and Jordan and THEN used in a war against Damascus, …”‘

The majority of the Western public doesnt’ realise and doesn’t WANT to realise a very upsetting fact that we have a powerful Enemy within.
American and Western governements have been hijacked by the satanic, global cult , which is set to destroy the current order and forcefully implement a new one, the so -called NWO. the satanic order.
ALL signs on Heaven and Earth point to that, however, a majority of people CHOOSES to turn their faces the other way in false hopes and expectations that things, somehow, out of the blue, on its own will get better. They won’t. If not fixed , they’ll only get worse.
Our life is a test, an examination , and we will , no mater if we believe it or not,
stand one day in front of the Biggest, the Omnipotent Judge who will us ask us if we followed and defended His laws and His Truth.
Each of us is fully responsible for our own actions and our own beliefs, and we have to own it.
Blaming others we’ll not help us.

  3. This sentence:
“US officials have expressed fears Russia may strike Western-backed rebel groups battling Assad and ultimately risk a confrontation with forces fighting the Islamic State (IS) group.”
would be correct if the word “alongside” were added after “forces.”

As for “Alexei” in this quote: “The outlet quoted a soldier named Alexei as saying that troops had been deployed…” we salute him as an excellent source of valuable info. No need for other confirmation…..

  4. That is the way the Israelis operate. They always say that “Some one told them” many times without saying the name or a verifiable source, they are always vague. All this turmoil in the Middle East is a Zionist operation for greater Israel.
