My Letter to Mike Piper

ed note–the following was sent to me in an email by a good mutual friend of Mike and mine. He did not send it with the request that it be published, but I was so moved by it I asked his permission to do so, and he agreed, apologizing for the spelling errors. 

I only have one disagreement with what he wrote, concerning Mike being ‘gone’.

He is alive, doing very well, and in a better place, and the wealth of information he left for us will never go away.

As I wrote in a forward to a book containing his essays published years ago entitled ‘Dirty Secrets’, Mike is indeed a ‘prophet without honor’.

‘Michael Collins Piper was a friend. I did not know him as well as a lot of people but we e-mailed one another at least a couple of times a month.

In 2008, I did go to see Mike Piper at the American Free Press headquarters in Washington DC.
I thought this was the greatest thing ever. To meet a real journalist who had laid it all on the line.
Mike was a brilliant journalist and perhaps one of the most, if not the most suppressed in America.

It has been noted that his book Finale Judgement has been called (rightly so) the most dangerous book in the world because it contains the theory that Israel’s Mossad assassinated the American President, John F. Kennedy, a theory which Mike Piper maps out flawlessly. The book has become an underground legend. The ‘who shot JFK truth community’ makes every attempt to dismiss it.

This–the murder of a US President, was ‘the big one’ (the only possible exception being 911) as the murder of JFK was and is the biggest conspiracy theory to flood the minds of the American people.

Finale Judgement is dangerous. The book had gotten its author in hot water more than once. For it was a challenge to the truly powerful. Who could have done the hit who could have covered it up? Once you start thinking this way the crime gets solved. But we didn’t think about till Mike pointed it out.

If you start to delve into the endless theories about the hit you can get lost. It becomes a strange hobby for some people.

I met Mike at the American Free Press he gave me 5 hours of his valuable time.

Mike is one of the smartest and most likable guys I ever had the pleasure of meeting. It’s one thing to meet someone you admire, but it is so much better when they are a nice person.

He looked like a cool dude and dressed like a spy with the gold chains and a sharp looking shirt.
I also met the boss of the AFP Mr. Willis Carto and writer Mark Anderson as well

Among other things Mike corresponded with Tim McVeigh the alleged OKC bomber. As well as JFK junior. He met with some of the most interesting people the Washington DC had to offer. This all added a bit of an air of mystery to Mike. It must also be noted that he didn’t seem afraid to talk to anyone. This is how I will remember Mike–the reporter, the private detective, the activist. Working late alone in the basement of the AFP. Mike reading in his big library with Donald the cat aka “The hound of the Baskervilles. Mike smoking on a big cigar. Mike Uncovering Roy Bullock. Mike walking the streets of his beloved Washington DC. Mike dining at a fine restaurant with friends. Mike doing countless shows on internet radio alone or with the equally controversial Mark Glenn. Mark who took Mike in in an emergency in his final days. This was at great cost and risk to Mark.

I think of Mike a lot these days…

I think of Mike going to the movies alone, like I do.

A thousand stories. A thousand battles fought, a thousand lies dispelled by Mike Piper.

For instance some websites have indicated that the famous assassin Mike Harari admitted he did 911. Or without any proof a well know website stated that the ‘Mossad did Sandy Hook’ without any proof. I don’t think that is how it works.

Mike noted in Final Judgement that the profile of Harari may have matched that of the infamous so called “Umbrella man” The operative word is might. But it is a brilliant observation.

The logic in Finale Judgement is really impossible to defeat, and this is why Mike’s work, all of it, was suppressed in every way possible. But his central message has not been entirely suppressed and it is out there.

I have heard that is why writers like Mike are not attacked and demonized directly as are other writers. It is far too dangerous to the establishment to do this. They cannot afford to even let the premise get out there.

A lot of guys think that they can research things with the kind of detail that was Mike’s forte’. I doubt it. I miss Mike. I do not feel as safe as I did when he had a radio show. I don’t think I can decode things like he did. The knowledge and intuition he possessed was profound.

Mike is gone and there where so many that wanted to take him down and it looks like to some degree it may have been some of his own guys that took him down.

I for one was shocked over the overreaction to Mike’s point of view on the Sandy Hook shooting. In light of the fact that he brilliantly sited the “cognitive infiltration” by the government itself.

To me the guy was like a solider. Same as any who swears to protect our nation. No gun but a pen His job is sometimes dangerous. And once you take that path there is no going back. Even a solider gets to go home for R&R. Once a journalist like Piper writes about the kind of buried information that Mike dug up they become a soldier in an unwinnable war. Yes, guys like Mike Piper, Jim Traficant, and Mark Glen, Mark Dankoff and others are like soldiers in a war that cannot be won and a war that will never end.

Nothing good comes of Mike being gone. The kind of research he did on corruption. The real stories, not photos, altered pictures of news events. Data, real information, real connections, biographies and real events.

His kind of analysis and intuition is lost. Never to return. One thing however. Readers and listeners may notice. After Mike left his. It seems to me there has been a divide created. Somehow things have gotten very clear. As they would say in popular slang things have gotten real.

I have never written a letter about a person out of the blue like this. To be honest very few people have earned my admiration. Not that I am that great but sports hero’s and movies stars I have had enough of.
