French officials call Moscow’s decision to send troops to shore up Assad regime a ‘dangerous’ move

ed note–several things worth mentioning here–

Firstly, the unintentional profundity of what France is saying–Afghanistan was–after all–a war fought between the US and Russia. Yes, it was fought by proxy with the US arming the Mujaheddin to the hilt with the latest high-tech weapons, but essentially it was a war between the 2 superpowers.

So in effect, what France is saying is that ISIS and the other groups against whom Russia is now engaged are the hired guns of the US and–by extension, her lickspittle lackey yes-men nations such as France.

Next–with all the BOOGA BOOGA that the western (Jewish) mainstream media has deployed in stoking the fears of the West about the danger that ISIS poses, why would they not welcome Russia’s involvement in defeating these terrorists?

The answer should be pretty obvious.

France is cautioning Russia against becoming further embroiled in the conflict in Syria, saying Moscow could find itself bogged down in a “second Afghanistan” — a reference to the Soviet army’s 1980s battle against the Afghan mujahideen opposition groups that led to heavy military losses for the USSR.

The London-based pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat says French officials called Russia’s decision to send military troops to shore up the regime of President Bashar Assad “dangerous,” Israel Radio reported Saturday.

The officials repeated the widely held Western assertion that Assad cannot be part of Syria’s political future, saying it is impossible to envision the president as someone who could lead Syria out of its current crisis and end the civil war.

Russia has deployed 28 combat planes in Syria, US officials said Monday, and a source in Moscow said 2,000 Russian military personnel would be sent to an airbase near the main port city of Latakia.

France — along with Britain — had expressed concern Thursday about the Russian military buildup in Syria, after Moscow said it would conduct naval drills in the eastern Mediterranean.

French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, speaking on a day of intense European diplomacy on the conflict, called on Moscow to justify the “very significant” Russian buildup.

Le Drian said: “We know what everyone can see, the very significant buildup of Russian forces both in the port of Tartus and above all, with the setting up of a military airport to the south of Latakia and the presence of several fighter jets, combat helicopters and drone capacity there.”

He said if Russia’s main intention was “to protect President Bashar Assad,” it should say so.

British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon, speaking alongside Le Drian after they held talks, said he was “equally concerned” by the Russian buildup in Syria “which will only complicate what’s already a very complicated and difficult situation”.

Fallon warned that the focus on Russia should not divert attention from the need to deal with Islamic State jihadists operating in Syria.

“We should not divert our focus from the need to deal with the threat of Daesh [IS], the very direct threat to Britain and France, and the instability that Daesh is posing in both Syria and Iraq,” he said, using an Arabic acronym for Islamic State.

US Defense Secretary Ash Carter also said Thursday that he would talk to his Russian counterpart again about Moscow’s military intentions in Syria, but cautioned that if the Russians insist on fighting the Islamic State without simultaneously pursuing a political solution to Syria’s civil war they will be “pouring gasoline” on the conflict.

  1. Remember when France, and Germany had opposed Bushes Iraq War 2?
That’s nomlongrr possible in France because the Jews have 100 % of the politicians including the phoney Marrina Le Pen,bought .

Why should the French, back in their role, like Poland ,as lackeys to the International Jews care if Russia as another ,” Afghanistan ?”

No,it’s the US who has a bunch of them weaving webs for Israel, and the NWO.

Russia is NOT invading a hostile country ,but assisting a long time Ally .

Russia has support inside Syria, and its nation today is not the r
rickety Communist structure, led by old peasants like the Soviet Union of 1979.

The West knows its days of romping all over Syria are over.
Reports are more Russian warships are entering the area, and China might be invited in as well.
    The
separation Nixon created between China, and Russia is finally coming to s conclusive end.

The weight of the Russian presence is now telling.

Obama the ” Socialist” ,and ” Muslim ,”, according to the Tea Party trash, and Kosher Right Wing, has thrown away, with Republican support 500 million dollars on terrorists to overthrow Syria, while social services, are being cut .

Russia has made sure its been a bad investment, and that’s great !

  2. Maestro, listen to this interview President Assad gave to a French national TV. It is in English. My favorite part (and it is to me the most heartbreaking too) is where Assad says what is France, France a zero credibility in the world, you mean nothing, nobody takes you seriously etc. (@19′)

  3. Bismillaah.
SERIOUSLY? Even if this were an actual serious argument, what gives the Gog & Magog western governments that support Israel and the US the right to meddle in anyone’s affairs with impunity, but when a genuine player steps in to succeed at that the aforementioned are miserably failing at – defeating the boogeyman ISIS – we hear nothing but veiled threats and gnashing of teeth. I am completely dumbfounded that the American people do not see it now. If they still think America actually cares about defeating the test tube baby ISIS, then we are on the precipice of defeat…a step away from walking into oblivion.

  4. Unfortunately, only realpolitik will win this game. that means a dose of NATO medicine back at NATO- use those refugees to burn down France, like is being done in Syria. A few ‘targeted killings’ ala’ Mossad-model against French VIPs. Or “Friends of France” launching some ISIS beheadings by the Seine… Preemptive action needs to be flipped back at the perps and returned to them double. Then get an army of 3 million to march into Palestine. Just walk in and take it over by sheer numbers. Friends of Gandhi, wink wink.

  5. The French officials of the France that lost to the Germans in the Franco Prussian War, got its ass kicked in WW I and had to be rescued by the U.S. and then surrendered to Germany in 6 WEEKS in WW II is giving military advice to the the Russians and who would be basking on beaches along the entire Atlantic Coast of France if it wasn’t for the U.S. and Brits… You mean these Jew owned French officials !!!
They should fermer leurs bouches putain. (it’s the best I could come up with for STFU!)

  6. A lot of vain jangling, if you ask me. While they scoff, admonish, and issue veiled threats, Russia doesn’t talk, it acts. Let ’em yack while Russia sends thousands of maimed takfiris scurrying like rats back into Turkey or to Hell itself. It’s on now, people. Bombast is no match for Russian bombs.

  7. Now how these IDIOTS in Washington are going to explain the American public that they do not want Russia to fight ISIS?. Now the whole truth is coming up. Israel and the CIA created ISIS (Israel Secret Intelligence Services).

  8. Who speaks?, the worst and vilest jewish lackey along with the american goverment, the franchuttes slaves and traitors of their people. Go to hell along with your masters de the ugly yids

  9. France warns Russia: Syria could be your ‘second Afghanistan’
