Former spy for Israel, who was released from an American prison last week after 30 years, received an offer to become a research analyst.

NEW YORK – An employer who had intended to give a salaried position to Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard retracted the offer Monday, because the conditions of his parole would have prevented him from doing his job.

Pollard received an offer to become a research analyst in the finance department of a respected investment firm. But his parole conditions require him to wear an electronic ankle bracelet at all times for GPS tracking of his whereabouts and to be subjected to unfettered monitoring and inspection of his computers and those of his employer.

He cannot leave his home in New York City before 7 a.m. or come home after 7 p.m., which makes it difficult to travel to and from work, to attend prayer services, or to accept invitations to dinner on the Sabbath and holidays from friends and relatives.

Speaking at the Louis Brandeis award dinner of the ZOA in New York on Sunday night, Pollard’s attorney, Eliot Lauer, said that due to the conditions, his client is “still not free,” despite leaving prison on Friday after serving 30 years of a life sentence. He asked the Jewish community to continue to struggle for Pollard’s freedom.

“The parole commission’s unnecessary conditions make it virtually impossible for him to obtain a normal job in New York City,” Lauer said. “The employer who offered him work took back the offer because federal authorities asked to install monitoring devices in the company’s computer system if it employed him.”

Pollard must also answer every phone call or knock on his door in the middle of the night, because it could be a test by a parole officer that if failed could lead to him being sent back to prison.

The Free Pollard campaign continued to ask Knesset members on Monday to refrain from criticizing the conditions of his parole and to leave the battle to his attorneys who are trying to obtain a date for a hearing before a district court judge in New York as soon as possible. At least a dozen MKs, including Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (Bayit Yehudi), rejected that request and released statements Friday criticizing the conditions.

“Everyone must display responsibility and restraint in hopes that it will lead to improving the situation on the legal track,” a campaign spokesman said.

  1. Why am I just ROFTLOL? Because, just sometimes, sweet justice can prevail. Jews wanted him out, he’s OUT. He’s a flight risk, so it was with conditions. Jews are beyond annoyed, all is good. At least for today. Later, who knows. Israel will still hail him as a “hero” and send him $$. The fat swine will be taken care of regardless. He’s lucky to be breathing not at the end of a rope for treason.

  2. Does he get run over by a garbage truck and left to be eaten by rats as a condition of his release? Just askin.

  3. Oh what a shame …I wonder if the real reason was the a” investment firm” was embarrassed ,and its obvious Jew ,and most likely Rothschild’s /Goldman Sachs, connections to politically hot !

I bet this ” firm” was is bank rolling plenty of big name politicos .

I think it’s time for the dear old USA to officially apologize for frying the Jews Ethel ,and Julius Rosenberg fur giving away our atomic secrets to the Jewish Bolshivicks years ago !

If Pollard is free, then we can at least give some respect back go them !
How about a commemorative coin ?
    A stamp !
Paper dolls, plates or play set !

How about a national museum like the Holohox one in DC with all the wonderful Jew spys in history all over it !
I’m sure every Republican would hurry to dedicate it !
These people where all arrested unjustly !
They where Yahweh’s ” Chosen People” ,and just trying to ” help”.

  4. He should welcome the fact that he did not get a harsher sentence, and prove that he can be a good boy until the parole is over. Glad he’s not on the taxpayer dole anymore, and hope he gets the treatment he deserves during parole, because once the parole is over, he’s gonna be treated well by companies that will overlook his crimes of the past, by giving him a job that pays well and has benefits – all in a country that doesn’t have much of that to go around these days.

  5. Great comment, Dante. As for the “job” he was offered, why not give up this travesty for dumb Goyim and just hand over his well-earned money without the pretense he is working at that firm? Give him another title, not “analyst,” and fork over the money. Hasn’t he suffered enough?
