ed note (Tony)…War by other means (fighting endless wars for Israel), needs a chief source of funding. Something we can all ‘give thanks‘ to, at the dinner table with the upcoming gluttony holiday of  Thanksgiving…..

  1. Tony, the opium is not grown to fund the US wars. It is grown to legitimize the various agencies who fight the “war on drugs.”
One thing to keep in mind is that money is not physical, and never has been. Coins and paper currency represent money, and can be traded as money, but they are not real money. Likewise, the title to a car, or the deed to a property, represents the car and the property, but they are not the car or the property. Real money exists only in the ledgers of banks. It consists of numbers. Nothing more. It is a way to keep score, and it has been this way from the dawn of history.
Gold can be traded as a commodity, but gold is not money. The monetary value of gold is determined by a money system, which itself exists only in bank ledgers. It is the monetary system that gives monetary value to gold; not the other way around. Without a monetary system, gold has zero monetary value. At best it can be bartered for food or whatever.
Since the US government has full Monetary Sovereignty, it creates money out of thin air, simply by crediting bank accounts. If you receive $1,000 per month from Social Security, then nothing physical moves. The Social Security Administration simply sends instructions to your bank to credit your account by $1,000. It’s as simple as changing the numbers on a sports scoreboard.
I have two accounts with my bank. I can sit at home, log onto the Internet, and move money from one account to the other, simply by changing the numbers in the account. Nothing physical moves. And yet, one account has more money, and the other has less. (Unlike the US government, I cannot add to the total numbers of both accounts. I am not Monetarily Sovereign.)
The US government will spend $3.6 trillion in FY 2015. If that $3.6 trillion existed as hundred-dollar bills, then the pile would weigh 39,600 TONS. The US government bailed out Wall Street banks to the tune of $16 trillion. If $16 trillion existed as hundred-dollar bills, then the pile would weigh 176,000 TONS. ($1 million in hundred-dollar bills weighs 22 pounds.)
Obviously that money does not move around physically. It is all digital. It is merely numbers in bank ledgers. The US government creates money by pressing keys on computer keyboards.
For this reason, the US government has no need or use for federal tax revenue, and in fact destroys all tax revenue upon receipt. How? When you add seven points to a sports scoreboard, where did the seven points come from? They came from nowhere. When you change the score to zero, where did the seven points go to? They went nowhere. You simply changed the numbers. Likewise, when you pay federal taxes, the government sends instructions to your bank to debit your account by the amount of the tax check. Where did the money in your account go? Nowhere. Money is not physical. It is simply a way to keep score.
For this reason the US government has no money at all. All money exists in the private sector. And yet the US government can create infinite money in the private sector, simply by crediting accounts. Thus, the US government has no need or use for revenue. (By contrast, state, county, and municipal governments need revenue, since they are not Monetarily Sovereign.)
Hence there is limitless money available for war. It is literally created out of thin air.
However politicians lie to you. They say the US government is “broke.” They say that Social security (a US government program) is “insolvent.” They say there is “no money” for social programs (although there is infinite money for war, and for Wall Street bailouts).
They lie because rich people pay them to lie. By making you think that a money user (i.e. you) is the same as a money creator (the US government) they make you accept poverty and inequality.
Have you ever played the Monopoly board game? Imagine being the banker. Whenever you need more money, you just write it down on pieces of paper. You alone have this power. But you falsely tell the other players that “Money is limited. The bank is broke.” Think of the power you have over other players. It’s this way in real life. Rich people pay politicians to brainwash you into thinking that the federal government’s power to create money is limited.
It’s a lie even worse than the “holocaust.” And it’s all about widening the gap between the rich and the rest.

  2. Hmmm
I think that one simple stat highlights the lie about the war on terror in general and the US invasion of Afghanistan in particular. In the year 2000 according to the US government in 2001. ( I saved that citation to CD) the big bad evil “Taliban” had brought Opium production and hence world wide Heroin traffic to a stand still. Less than 100 tons were produced in the year 2000.
The US and Israel are the instigators and the terrorists. It is the US and Israel that have been acting illegally and immorally since 9-11. Oh and of course the US has publicly admitted that NO LINKS between Afghanistan and 9-11 exist. And they have admitted that the plans to attack Afghanistan were already on President Bush’s desk BEFORE THE 9-11 ATTACK. Wake up people.
Look at the last 13 years from another perspective; the roughly 7 Trillion dollars spend on these phony wars that actually only benefit Israel would have sealed all our borders, completely modernized our entire Military. Rebuilt/repaired virtually the entire infrastructure of the entire country, etc, etc. And most importantly Millions of people would still be alive today.
