According to the “Schedule B” filing that tax-exempt nonprofits must submit to the IRS, the top donors to UANI are a pair of trusts associated with the billionaire Thomas Kaplan and a family foundation operated by Republican mega-donor Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam. Together, the funding associated with Kaplan and Adelson accounted for more than three-quarters of the group’s total revenue of $1.7 million for the 2013 tax year.
As I previously reported for The Nation, Adelson’s family foundation contributed half a million dollars to UANI that year.
Kaplan’s contributions to the anti-Iran group were larger overall—totaling $843,000, around half the UANI’s annual revenue for that tax year—but through two separate trusts managed by his company, named in the schedule B document as The Tigris Group. (Known Kaplan companies include The Tigris Financial Group, The Tigris Group of Companies, and The Electrum Group.) The first, Butterfield Trust, is described in a 2011 Sunshine Silver Mines prospectus as “trustee of a trust primarily for the benefit of members of the family of Dr. Thomas Kaplan.” Butterfield Trust contributed $281,000 to UANI in 2013. The other Kaplan trust, New Generations, gave UANI $562,000, according to the Schedule B.

It’s the old “blowback” theory dear to the hearts of the chmokskyites and other controlled opposition liars, according to which, yes, London’s 7/7, like 9/11, were Islamist terror attacks brought on by wrong foreign policy. Interesting comments which leave me wrestling with the idea of hasbarism. There apparently is no hasbarism, although there a plenty of hasbarists comprised of people who function as advocates and/or apologists for – I’m having trouble finding a word denoting Jewish power. Israel is a de facto nation which was created by the Jewish diaspora. That’s sort of like the tentacles of a killed octopus surviving over scores of generations, and then out of nothing recreating its head. Oops – the analogy drawn from nature doesn’t work. The “Jewish entity” is not like an octopus – a head with many limbs – but much more like the Greek mythical hydra – a body with many heads. The hydra is the stuff of nightmares where every time a hydra head is killed it is replaced by two new heads. The hydra of course is fantasy – as is another Greek myth, the Trojan Horse. And yet these two myths together do seem to apply to the “Jewish entity”. What holds this “Jewish entity” together? How and why has this tiny segment of humankind come to dominate the huge majority of our species? In a word, the Jews are superior to all other ethnic peoples in that no other people are anywhere near as organized. I won’t go on trying to describe Jewish organization, but if we gentiles are to ever address and effectively deal with the Jewish problem, we need to understand how they achieve such discipline, and we need to better it. In the meantime, the gentile nations and their institutions will continue to be ‘gnawed at from within’ – to borrow ariadnatheo’s metaphor. What do gentiles need to do to achieve a level of organization whereby our societies can defend themselves against the transnational “Jewish entity”?
when Press TV began, they didn’t rush to hire the most ardent pro-Iranians, or the most competent. They hired folks in the MSM- many of those same jews who blackened the image of Iran and – and who does nothing but make Iran look bad, than an unknown who does great work on behalf of their cause. Because they might be famous. Never grasping that htheir fame only serves to multiply the effect their anti-Iran views can do in reaching so many more people. Not all publicity is good publicity.
