AT HOME IN GAZA

These are world-class documentary photographs about a major global “conflict” that is not a “conflict”–the word “conflict” implies two more or less equal sides. It’s not a “conflict.” It’s slow-motion genocide. It’s ethnic cleansing at a snail’s pace, killing men, women and children incrementally, but inexorably, erasing them one by one, as the go to school, eat, marry, make love, cry, laugh, and do all the things that normal human beings do. But these are human beings WHO ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LIVE AS HUMAN BEINGS. I’m not being hyperbolic or histrionic: my eyes are always wet with tears when I see these photos. But who am I to cry, safe in my home, with my air condition, not having to worry about a bulldozer demolishing my house so only Jews can live in it. I don’t even have the right to cry for these people. I write my congressman, I give what little I can, I refuse to buy any products made by the Jewish state. Even if the Jewish state were destroyed tomorrow, as long as Judaism were allowed to exist, this sick belief of chosen-ness, as long as it exists, this problem will exist. Only a great purging–only nuclear fire, with much of the earth scorched, and WITH PEOPLE UNDERSTANDING FINALLY WHAT IT WAS THE STARTED IT, will end this cancer. I know that God will not allow this state to exist forever. He cannot. “ISRAEL” IS AN AFFRONT TO GOD. I firmly believe that each day, each hour, each split second that passes, God’s cup is filling and filling and filling with wrath, and one day–ONE DAY, and it WILL come–that cup will runneth over, spilling his vengeance, once and for all, dealing with these people. The blood, Revelations says, will be up to a horse’s bridle. “ISRAEL”–the subjugation, dehumanization and outright murder of an entire people just so you can build your Jewish state on non-Jewish bones–WILL END.
