Blaming the Romans for the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ

ed note–please pay attention to the fact that the very basis upon which Talmudic Judaism justifies the rejection/murder of Jesus Christ is the passage out of the Torah–as reprinted above–from the book of Deuteronomy, ch 13 that reads in part as thus–

‘You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him…But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death who councils rebellion against the LORD your God and attempts to seduce you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from among you…If your brother, your mother’s son, or your son or daughter, or the wife you cherish, or your friend who is as your own soul, entices you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods’ whom neither you nor your fathers have known, then you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare or conceal him, but surely you must kill him. Let your hand be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.…’

We point this out because unfortunately, there are far too many people in this ‘movement’ who try to draw this non-existent line between the Torah and the Talmud, claiming that the former is a ‘holy’ book full of all sorts of goodies, and that the latter is ‘evil’ because of the things it says about Jesus, His mother Mary and His followers.

As is made plain in the image above, the basis upon which the Talmud rests as a foundational work for modern Judaism is that it is Torah-based, acting in effect as a ‘how-to’ manual in applying the 613 laws handed down by Moses as outlined in the Torah, or Old Testament.
