Germany’s Protestant church has acknowledged the antisemitism of founder Martin Luther and pledged to confront the issue by the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, in 2017.
The announcement came during the church’s annual Synod, days after Germany’s most senior Jewish leader, Josef Schuster, had raised the issue in an address to its 120 delegates.
In a unanimous decision last Wednesday, the EKD Synod renounced Luther’s virulent anti-Jewish proclamations and said that the “history of guilt” could not be ignored.
The German theologian Martin Luther called for Jews to be driven from their homes. In his 1543 text On the Jews and their Lies, he referred to them as a “base” people and urged his followers to burn down synagogues.
The Synod said that Luther’s attitudes had brought “sorrow and shame” to the church. In their statement, the members pledged to combat modern antisemitism and to confront the Jew-hate in Protestant history.

Luther was one of the greatest men ever to live. More than anyone else, he created modern Europe, the most advanced civilization ever created. His move to have church services in German, along with the invention of the printing press at the same time made the Bible the bestselling book in history and spread literacy to everyone in the country, whereas prior to that literacy was limited to a minority of people. Then the same thing happened all over Europe, in all its languages.
On Jews Luther knew what he was talking about also. He had twice the brainpower these brain dead German traitors have.
Everything we see happening today is a result of Germany losing WW II and Jews emerging the big winners. What is fascinating though, is that most British and Americans (the winners of that war) are completely unaware of the fact that Jews bankrupted and destroyed the British Empire by paying Churchill to fight that war, while knowing it would bankrupt and destroy his empire and most Americans and British are completely unaware of the Jews leading efforts to destroy their ethnic European populations with mass immigration of non-Europeans into their countries.
It’s ironic that the British soldiers were told they were defending their empire when Germany never wanted a war with them to begin with and then Churchill had them destroy their own empire that they were told they were defending when they declared war on and attacked Germany.
And then the Jews will still kill all the Germans, for some alleged offence against the Jews from ancient history. But they want the Germans to suck up to them first, it makes their souls more easy to digest.
That is a malicious lie perpetrated by the masters of deception. Dr. Martin Luther never said to go ahead and burn Synagogues. He had the courage to tell people exactly what the Jews are and he never lied about them. I admire Dr. Martin Luther because he stand up to the Church in the middle of the inquisition and founded his own order. What he said about the Jews is nothing but the truth. Hatred for a person orgroup dosent appear in a vacum. There are almost always reson(s) behind it.
Now.. if and when hatred arises for no reason, it ought be condemned, and rightly so.
But when it comes for good reason it is not only justified, but a god given right.
With that said, we as humans have the right to like or dislike, even hate ANY person or group for any reason we see fit..
Maybe they should think on way they have been hated for over 3,000 years.
