This is so outrageous that it may be a false rumor started by someone who does not like the idea of the Cuban government meeting with the ultra-imperialistic US government.
I’m talking about Che’s murderer Felix Rodriguez, not the stamp, which is a satire.
LOL! 🙂
I adapted that image of Che from his famous appearance on the Face the Nation TV program in Dec 1964. I gave him a shave and a haircut, but I let him keep his moustache.
While in New York, Che became very good friends with Malcolm X, who I admire.
I could not find photos of them together, so I did two quick paste-ups.
Great shots! Fidel and Malcolm X having a good laugh. Good times are surely missed. I don’t think a photo of Che and Malcolm exist. I like black and white photos. Did you know Fidel was a photographer as well? Three brilliant men. What is not to like about any of them?
An alternative account of Mr Guevara can be found on You Tube, and from Freedomain Radio.
“The Truth About Che Guevara”, by Stefan Molyneux, at You Tube is easy to access.
I showed them smiling in order to suggest confidence and triumph.
Since you like black and white photography, here’s a surreal one I did. If it looks weird, that’s intentional. No one has ever seen these images. I do them late at night. Click to enlarge.
These are great shots! The house gave me a weird feeling. I like these pictures. 🙂
Konrad, you are such an artist. And delightfully corrupt in a rather tawdry elegant fashion. You capture the era then ….. play. You got me to literally spew my cocoa at “98% BED-BUG FREE”. It is because of people like you that I use a keyboard with a plastic cover!
The images of Che and Malcolm made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside ~ I much more took to Malcolm to be honest. The clouds…. great shot.
I read Georgi Ann Geirs “Guerilla Prince”….I don’t recall Felix Rodriguez as the killer….I recall a certain Jose Teran….somebody school me…y los cubanos que se cagen en su puta madre
Felix did not kill Che himself. He did pick the gun and left instructions on how to assassinate him. There is another article that I posted which is more detailed from Venezuela Analysis.
@ nooralhaqiqa Thanks. In case it didn’t come across, in the “discount hookers” image, the joke was supposed to be the “discount hookers” sign juxtaposed with the “AARP” sign for senior citizens.
I mostly work in color, but I do black and white images too, especially high contrast “noir” style imagery like these. Here are a couple more…
They are outstanding Konrad. Black and White photos are more expressive. At least for me they seem to bring out the hidden character. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

The image of Malcolm with Fidel is real.

One of my favorite songs. Thanks NLG.
I read that it was Jose Teran that executed “El Che”
