I think these statements are meant for the Turkish people themselves who may start to open their eyes to the real nature and intentions of their leader. In the so called muslim world, making some anti-israel statements every now and again is always used whenever things start to heat up. To avoid ebullition, to soften the people and send them back to sleep, these kind of words are as good as gold…
In the meanwhile, Turkey still buys weapons from israel, perhaps those very weapons tried and tested in Gaza before they went out for sale…
