Turkish president says Hamas is the first line of defense against eventual military expansion by Israel into Anatolia

ed note–for those not ‘in the know’ as to what Erdogan is trying to say here, we will fill in the blanks–

The Jews, meaning the followers of Torah Judah-ism, are, as they are fond of telling the world on a regular basis, the ‘people of the book’, that book of course being their Torah, or ‘Old Testament’ as it is known by Christians of all varieties.

Within the pages of this ‘Torah’ are found all the promises, prophecies and commandments concerning this ‘promised land’ that the followers of Torah Judah-ism say belongs to them and to them alone, and it is not some small piece of real estate sitting on the eastern shores of the Mediterranean, but rather a sprawling land mass that includes all of Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, southern Turkey, Iraq, a large slice of Egypt and parts of northern Saudi Arabia, to wit–

‘On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abraham, saying ‘To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates’… –Book of Genesis, 15:18

‘And God spoke unto us saying, ‘Go to the hill-country and all the places nigh thereunto… in the Arabah, the hill-country and in the Lowland… in the South and by the sea-shore, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates…Go in therefore and possess the land which the Lord swore unto your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, unto them and to their seed after them…’ –Book of Deuteronomy 1:6–8

‘Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours, from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river Euphrates, even unto the hinder sea shall be your border…’ –Book of Deuteronomy

‘…From the wilderness, and this Lebanon, even unto the great river, the Euphrates, all the land unto the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border…’ –Book of Joshua

And Erdogan, as well as every leader of every country in the Middle East, knows this fact, and yet, for reasons that right now are not entirely clear, refuses to discuss these facts publically except on rare occasions such as this.

So, the $666 question is WHY???

This–Israel’s plans for expansion–represents the proverbial alligator in the room, and yet no one–again, except on rare occasions such as this–chooses to discuss this, when the fact is that if it were discussed and received considerable ‘airtime’ in the various media outlets that right now are burning up the airwaves and ethernet in covering the carnage and Gentile-cide taking place in Gaza, it would CONSIDERABLY ‘wake up’ large portions of the world in better understanding the truly diabolical nature of the Jewish state and why ALL Gentiles everywhere need to lock arms in common cause in seeing the demise of this state before all life on earth perishes.

Hamas is defending Turkish lands against Israel, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in televised remarks on Wednesday.

Addressing the Turkish parliament in Ankara, Erdogan said Israel would eventually ‘set its sights’ on them if it was ‘not stopped’.

‘Israel is not only attacking Palestinians in Gaza…It is attacking us. Hamas is the forward line defense of Anatolia in Gaza,’ he said.

The statement came as bilateral relations hit a new low after Ankara completely halted trade with Israel earlier this month, demanding unhindered flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza Strip and a ceasefire.

‘Israel will answer for the 35,000 Palestinians they murdered and the 85,000 people they injured. We will be on their backs,’ Erdogan said.

‘No one should expect us to soften our words. They are as spoiled as they are barbaric. They killed people with the deadliest weapons, hunger and thirst. They took people out of their homes and directed them to supposedly safe areas and then they massacred these civilians in safe areas.’

Erdogan in April likened Hamas to the Turkish revolutionary forces which helped expel foreign armies from Anatolia in the 1920’s.

Even though both countries normalised previously rocky relations and exchanged ambassadors last year, the 7 October Hamas-led attack on Israel led to a rift that undermined the detente.

Turkey initially kept its criticism towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government muted, and also condemned Hamas’ attacks on civilians.

However, the government’s posture changed over time as suffering in the Gaza Strip mounted. Turkey first recalled its ambassador for consultations in November.

Since suffering significant losses in Turkey’s local elections in March, the Turkish government has intensified its criticism of Israel and taken a series of steps against Netanyahu’s government.

Turkey also announced earlier this month that it would join South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice.

Despite this, Israeli sources told Middle East Eye on Monday that Israel had begun to send back its diplomats to Turkey earlier in May, half a year after it withdrew them over security concerns.

‘As the Israeli departure was due to security reasons, Israel is trying to gradually send back its diplomats,’ an Israeli source told MEE.

A Turkish official confirmed that Israeli diplomats have been returning to their posts.
