At European Parliament address, president proposes the EU would assist in confidence-building, calls for Israeli-international initiative to rehabilitate Gaza.
ed note–but, but, but….Rivlin is one of those good ‘leftist’ Jews who ‘wants peace’ with the Palestinians and Arabs…He says really sweet, squishy things…He is critical of Netanyahu, Likud, and ‘the right wing’ in Israel.
Yes, folks, this is how they do it. The wave of a magic wand and the reciting of a magical spell, and ‘POOF!’, entire swaths of Gentiledom are put into a trance and prevented from understanding clearly the nature of the game being played.
There will never, repeat–NEVER–be a ‘Palestinian’ state as far as both the left and right in Israel are concerned. Since ‘Palestine’ was the name given to Judea after it was conquered/destroyed by the Romans, leading to the 2,000 years of ‘anti-Shemitism’ and ‘persecution’ that has marked the Jews and their infernal j-rama that is now reaching its climax in world events today, the very word ‘Palestine’ is as welcome within any Judaic paradigm as Holy water is to a vampire.
They cannot say this however, because to do so would mean that the gig is up and that their game is revealed for what it is, which in turn would lead to all sorts of political pressures being put on those spineless, cowardly Western leaders who take it in the rear by Israel whenever Jewish interests demand it.
And so, what is done is the equivalent of a filibuster–days, weeks, months, years, decades of droning on and on and of wearing everyone out in attendance with all the noise and discussion, all the while that the Jews continue to grind forward with the ultimate end-goal of the entire Zionist project–‘Greater Israel’ as described in dozens of passages in the Old Testament–stretching from the Nile to Euphrates rivers, and with it, a Judaic empire from which all world affairs will be governed by Judaic ‘ethics’.

The conditions for a final status agreement between Israel and the Palestinians don’t exist at the current time, President Reuven Rivlin said on Wednesday during an address to the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Instead, he proposed that the European Union assist in improving trust between Palestinians and Israelis and called for a combined initiative by Israel and the international community to rehabilitate the Gaza Strip, against the backdrop of what he said was the “human tragedy taking place there.
All Israeli governments since the Oslo Accords in 1993, including the current one, had supported the principle of two states for two peoples, Rivlin said. Any such agreement brought before the Knesset would be approved, he added.
“That said, with all the difficulty and pain involved, we have to look at reality and speak the truth,” the president said.
“The current diplomatic, political and regional conditions do not allow Israelis and Palestinians to reach a permanent peace agreement.”
Rivlin also criticized the French Peace Initiative during his address to European lawmakers, saying it was based on the “same paradigms and tools” that had failed many times in the past. Negotiations for the sake of negotiations are “bound to fail,” the president said.
It will have the effect of pushing both sides into despair, “from which only the extremists will gain.” Despair, the president stressed, “is the greatest danger.”
Rivlin is currently visiting European Union institutions in Brussels and Strasbourg. In the past two days, he has met with European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, European Parliament President Martin Schultz and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
The president’s address to the European Parliament, which he delivered in Hebrew, was broadcast live on the EU’s official website.
During his visit to the EU, Rivlin is also due to meet with representatives of the Jewish communities in Belgium and will visit the Red Star Line Museum in Antwerp, accompanied by the city’s mayor Bart De Wewer.
The museum documents the some three million people who emigrated from Europe to America on the historic shipping line.

Never ever believe a jew THERE IS NOT ONE GOOD JEW. When you think all is okay they stab you as yet in the back. The only thing they are really good in is lying, repentless lyuing next to other virtues as stealing swindling, frauding and murdering. Further more they are okay, isn’t it?
There will never be any salvation for the Palestinians other than death as far as their occupiers are concerned. Any fool who mentions the two state solution is playing a dirty game whether they realize it or not.
