The twin Jewish belly dancers who took Cairo, and the world, by storm

Very few people knew that the talented Jamal sisters were, in reality, Helena and Bertha Fishel.

ed note–to some, a seemingly innocuous and even irrelevant story, but one which actually speaks entire volumes about ‘how they do it’.

Keep in mind that belly dancing was more than likely NOT the only ‘art’ they plied. Given their Arab looks and false Arabic sounding names and the fact that for all intents and purposes they were involved the ‘sex’ biz, all can rest assured that somewhere in Mossad’s files are pics and graphic details of the various ‘encounters’ that these two Hebraic sisters had with all sorts of important people and how the details of these encounters were then used for blackmail purposes by Israel. Furthermore, given their role as ‘artistes’, this gave them the cover they needed in moving in and out of all sorts of countries without any suspicion on the part of the intelligence services of those countries, all the while they were in effect acting as the eyes and ears of Judea Inc, a factor that obviously needs to be considered as well in the modern day phenomenon known as Hollywood and its role in furthering the interests of the Jewish state.

Egypt once boasted a lively and fairly open society in which Muslims co-existed with Italian and Greek Christians, as well as the ancient community of the Copts and Jews.

However, despite this, it was not publicly known that the Jamal twins, adored by King Farouk himself, were daughters of Jewish musicians Fishel and Jini Alpert.

Fishel, who was originally from Chernowitz (today Chernivtsi, Ukraine) arrived to Egypt in the 1920’s and secured work in an orchestra, and Jini was an opera singer.

They sent their daughters to music and dance teachers from a young age and it was revealed the twins had an amazing talent for oriental dancing. Offers to perform in public soon followed, and, out of concern for her daughters, Jini decided to attend each concert they performed in – a decision she followed even years later when her young girls were adult women.

The twins re-named themselves Lelia and Lamia and practiced their routines, which were considered daring in the post World War II years, for many hours. They became movie stars at home in Egypt but, after the military coup led by Nassar, moved to India and Singapore where their fame followed them.

The twins received their US Visa’s when a group of US congressmen who were visiting India, attended one of their shows in Bombay.

Having arrived in the US, they joined Syrian-American Eddie “The Sheik” Kochak and Iraqi violinist Hakki Obadia to create the sound called Ameraba, a fusion of American and Arab music.

Shortly after moving to the US the sisters married and turned to teaching belly dancing rather than performing in night clubs.

Lyn passed away in 1992 and Liz in 2016. Her widower David Marks decided to share the amazing story of his late wife and her sister with the world by donating her archives to the National Library of Israel whereby they may inspire future dancers and lovers of Arab culture and Arab-Jewish art.

  1. Jewish prostitutes also work for the British intelligence services like M15, and I actually knew such a woman years ago who later tried to assassinate me in combination with a man who worked for M16 (I have all the details if ever any police care to arrest me and interrogate me, but of course, such allegations will merely be ignored at best). When the order comes that flicks a switch in their heads, they will kill you as quick as a flash without the slightest compunction. after having collected information on you all the while, time, whilst trying to destroy you on as many levels all the time.

Hmm. Related to Herb Alpert perhaps?? Miles Mathis could probably find out.
“Fishel, who was originally from Chernowitz (today Chernivtsi, Ukraine) arrived to Egypt in the 1920’s and secured work in an orchestra, and Jini was an opera singer.”
Of course they DID!! After all, J. e. w. s. were able to come and go, in and out of Ukraine after the Soviet “revolution” and before the J. e. w. i. s. h. imposed famine in Ukraine in the 1930s. Boy, these J. e. w. s. just seem to step in shyte EVERYWHERE they come from and EVERYWHERE they go, don’t they?

Of COURSE they did…because it was just as easy as all that! They were such great dancers, after all. The ((Congressmen)) were just SO impressed with these 2 belly “dancers”, as any one of us would be, I’m sure.
And how MANY names did they use? First it’s Helena and Bertha.
“Very few people knew that the talented Jamal sisters were, in reality, Helena and Bertha Fishel.”
    Then, it’s Lelia and Lamia.
“The twins re-named themselves Lelia and Lamia and practiced their routines, which were considered daring in the post World War II years, for many hours.”
    Then, it’s Lyn and Liz:
“Lyn passed away in 1992 and Liz in 2016.”
MY, Oh my!! People come and go so quickly here…. in the land of OZ.
Well, at least these 2 are gone….but so many more to go. Oh, wait!! So many millions were hollerco$ted. I’m not sure why there are so many remaining to become world admired belly “dancers” and ‘Ameraba’ musicians. I just can’t do the math. I need a J. e. w. i. s. h. accountant.
