If conflict not resolved, ISIS will make Palestinian cause its own

Ed-note (Sabba) – For the past 10 years or so, the Palestinians have consistently won the battle of the Hearts among the Gentile community of about 7 billion. Despite the billions of $$$  spent, wasted in PR, despite owning all the western media, the jews have lost that war. Everyone knows to some extent about the horrors the jews are committing against a completely defenseless people. And worst for them, more and more people are identifying the source of the problem, each at their own pace.

Now, what is the worst thing that could happen to the Palestinian cause, what could hurt it  more than have it associated with Christian hating, head-chopping ‘muslim’ fanatics of ISIS?

But it is too late! The word is out and it is not long before even the slower elements of the Gentile community also figure out what/who ISIS really are. Those who hate Christians today are the same who hated them from the very beginning, 2000 ago. And those who hates Muslims today and never cease to plot against them are the exact same as those who plotted against Islam 1400 years ago.

They plan and plot. And God plans. And He is the best of Planners.

JERUSALEM POST – France foreign minister heads to the Middle East this weekend with an initiative aimed at bringing Israel and the Palestinians back to peace talks under an international framework amid growing regional instability.

US-led efforts to broker peace for a two-state solution collapsed in April 2014 and leaders on both sides have since been weakened politically. But with the region’s crises worsening, France sees a narrow window to resume negotiations.

Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius will explore the prospects for talks with Arab League ministers in Cairo on Saturday and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Sunday.

“Everything points to inertia, but we believe that this inertia is deadly,” said a senior French diplomat. “We can no longer isolate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from the regional context.”

If the conflict remains unresolved, the diplomat added, radical groups such as Islamic State will make the Palestinian cause their own.

Paris hopes to convince Arab states, the European Union and UN Security Council members to pressure both sides to make compromises neither wants to make alone.

“The method to reach a definitive solution has been for both sides to meet face to face with the Americans as an honest broker, but this method has failed,” the diplomat said. “It needs international support.”

France has so far focused with Arab states on a possible UN Security Council resolution that would set negotiating parameters and establish a time period, possibly 18 months, to complete talks.

The trip comes before a final round of nuclear talks between major powers and Iran in late June. Washington has made clear it will not discuss the Middle East process until the Iran situation is clear.

Netanyahu highlighted his opposition to French moves in comments on June 10. “There are those who attempt to impose terms on Israel in the Security Council because there are no talks, and some pretend that dangers we face are not real dangers at all,” he said. “I think what that does is drive peace away.”

Israeli officials appear unworried, perhaps reckoning they can pressure the United States and others in the Security Council to water down or kill the initiative.

The Palestinians say any resolution must set a clear frame of reference in terms of 1967 borders and east Jerusalem being the capital of a Palestinian state.
