Iran Supreme Leader Vows to Defeat America in New Video Clip

THE ALGEMEINER – A short video in which Iran’s Supreme Leader vows war on the U.S. was uploaded to Ali Khamenei’s website, according to a report on the Saudi-owned TV station Al Arabiya on Wednesday (LINK)

In the Farsi-language 1:43-minute video with English subtitles — “If any war happens” — Khamenei warns the American administration against the “foolishness” of launching a war against Iran, promising the U.S. would be defeated.The clip opens with recordings of President Barack Obama saying that America could quickly eliminate Iran’s military capabilities, and that the United States would consider using the military option to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power.

This is followed by Khamenei’s last Eid al-Fitr sermon, in which he threatens the United States and promises its defeat in a war with Iran.

The video also highlights Iran’s military readiness, with Iranian-produced Zulfiqar tanks charging to confront a ship labeled “USS Navy.”

It then cuts to a scene called “33 day war,” a reference to the Second Lebanon War fought between Israel and Iran’s Lebanese terrorist proxy, Hezbollah. This scene shows two missiles carrying the Hezbollah flag, above the face of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah.

After this, “Iranian missiles” can be seen blowing up outlines of American soldiers, and subsequent scenes illustrating America’s wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Khamenei can be heard saying that the Americans, “must know that should any war break out,” the United States “would emerge humiliated from it.”

Meanwhile, in an interview on Iranian TV, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps deputy commander Hussein Salami directed a similar threat at the U.S., Israeli Channel 10 News reported.

“The majority of the United States’s [military] bases are within the range of our accurate ballistic missiles,” said Salami. “There is no limit to the number [of missiles] we are capable of firing if they attack us.”
