Using the term “West Bank” is a symptom of our malaise.
ed note–we, the Gentile People’s Court, offer this as ‘exhibit A’ in underscoring YET AGAIN that all the jibber-jabber taking place within this movement on the part of certain ‘experts’ who don’t have the expertise to pour p*** out of a boot while reading the directions on the heel, namely that ‘Judaism and Zionism are as different from each other as apples and oranges’ or that ‘Zionism is a political movement while Judaism is a holy, GAAAAWD-centered religion’ don’t know their own derrieres from a hole in the ground.
As our esteemed writer makes clear, ‘Zionism’ did not begin with a quip or slip of the tongue by Moses Hess in the mid 19th century. It did not begin with the publication of Theodore Herzl’s book ‘The Jewish State’ in the late 1800s, nor with the convening of the First Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland in 1897. It did not begin in 1948 with Israel’s resurrection and it CERTAINLY is not something that has no roots in ‘authentic Judaism’.
As has been manifestly clear now for THOUSANDS of years, the idea of Jews (or whatever other linguistic designation one chooses to use in naming them, whether it is Hebrews, Israelites, Khazars, etc, etc, etc) have coveted ‘that land’ now for much longer than a mere century, the planned theft of which they pre-ordained within the writings of ‘holy’ books with names such as Genesis, Exodus, Deuteronomy, Numbers, Joshua, Psalms, etc, to wit–
‘On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abraham, saying “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates’…–Genesis, 15:18
‘And God spoke unto us saying, ‘Go to the hill-country and all the places nigh thereunto… in the Arabah, the hill-country and in the Lowland… in the South and by the sea-shore, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates…Go in therefore and possess the land which the Lord swore unto your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, unto them and to their seed after them…’ Deuteronomy 1:6–8
‘Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours, from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river Euphrates, even unto the hinder sea shall be your border…’ Deuteronomy 11:24
‘…From the wilderness, and this Lebanon, even unto the great river, the Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border…’Joshua 1:4
‘…And when the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, he will give you a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant…–Book of Deuteronomy
One may say the following essay is just a rambling collection of mad musings and meanderings on the part of some mentally-defective victim of Judaic hocus pocus, but what a sane world needs to understand is that everything taking place right now on the geo-political level vis a’ vis the ‘clash of civilizations’, the ‘war on terror’ and all the rest that has now escalated to (almost) open confrontation with a nuclear-armed Russia is an extension of the very words contained in this piece. The Jews are back, 2,000 years later, and with a vengeance, and are out to remake the world in such a way that the events that began in 66 A.D. and ended in 135 A.D. –Rome’s destruction of Judea–are effectively erased from the pages of history.
If we are ever to get hold of this problem and deal with it in a rational way, it means putting aside these baseless and childish ‘Judaism ain’t Zionim’ notions and to just begin dealing with this thing on the basis of reality and reason, rather than letting our better senses be hijacked with sweet nothings whispered into our ears by those out to confuse and confound us as an application of Mossad’s motto ‘By way of deception, we shall make war’ against the Gentiles.

Imagine a person living 60 years with the name his parents give to him and then suddenly, neighbors come over and decide to call him something else. His name was Yisrael. From the time he was a child, family and friends called him Izzy. Izzy lived next to a guy and they became friends. The friend loved the Marx brother’s movies and people nicknamed him Groucho. When Groucho became friends with the more quiet Izzy, people started calling Izzy “Harpo”.
At first, Izzy smiled and thought it was funny. But after a while, even his children and grandchildren started calling him Harpo. Neighbors wrote, “Harpo” on his mailbox and as new neighbors moved in, others quickly told them that Izzy was called Harpo. This went on for a few years. More and more, Izzy realized that in accepting the name that others gave to him, he was losing a part of himself, denying his roots and the name his parents had given to him.
Then, one day, Izzy’s great grandson came to visit. He was three years old and when he saw his great grandfather, he ran over to him, hugged him and said, “I love you, Harpo.”
And Izzy realized that in accepting the name that others had given to him, he had lost a piece of himself. He began to try to shake off the name, It was his name, his life…and yet others got annoyed and insisted that Harpo was the name he should use, the name others recognized.
I have friends who moved to Israel and decided that they wanted to be called by their Hebrew names. Sol became Shlomo; Marty became Mordechai. Or, to be more accurate, they adjusted the way others referred to them by choosing their own preference.
The names Israel and Judea and Samaria have been associated with this land for thousands of years. A mere 68 years ago, Jordan began referring to these areas as the ‘West Bank of the Jordan River.’ That the world refers to this land as the ‘West Bank’ is not surprising; much of the world barely recognizes Israel at all.
That we refer to it as such is a symptom of our losing ourselves.
We deny our roots when we called this land anything but what it has been in our hearts for 2,000 years. No, I do not live in the ‘West Bank’. I might live on the west bank of the Jordan River but the hills to the east of my home, the ones I can see right now as I gaze out my window, are the hills of Judea. As I leave my home to drive towards the Dead Sea, it is the Judean Desert I enter.
We allowed quasi-Israeli media outlets to damage our standing in the world by catering to their ghetto mentality.
What is in a name? What difference does it make if we refer to this land as the ‘West Bank’ or Judea and Samaria? The answer is everything. We lose our souls, more, we surrender our identity. We sacrifice our past, diminish the incredible connection we have with this land.
And worse, we allowed quasi-Israeli media outlets to damage our standing in the world by catering to their ghetto mentality. When someone who lives in this area writes that it is the ultra-right who use this terminology, we all lose.
I live in the land of Israel, my home, my heart. My home graces the mountains of Judea.
And when this great grandfather dies, it will be Yisrael written on his tombstone, not Harpo. His neighbors can recognize his name or call them whatever he wants, but his family must know. This is what he was born, this is how he should live.
Two of my children and all of my grandchildren have been born in this land. We will name it as it was, as it is. The larger question is not why we want to be known by our ancient and reborn name, but why others seek to take it away and more, why we let them.
Judea. Samaria. Yehudah and Shomron. Home. Ours. Forever. Our heritage, our rights, our history and our future really IS in the name.

Dear MG Editor – I am a faithful reader of your postings/news letter and agree with most of your writings. However, I would ask that you consider not writing “Gaaaawd” in your posts, but rather use the word “god” in its place. I think that when you use the aforementioned term, it reveals your emotional state and is discrediting to your writings as it makes them appear as attacks based upon emotion as opposed to rationally thought-out writings based upon the facts. “God” is already a sacred-held concept to many and I think it could further alienate or offend readers as they may see you as an aetheist mocking god in general. This further detracts from the important information you share with readers. Try to keep your emotions in check as you write and I really think you will appeal to a larger audience as a credible source of factual information. Please consider what I have written. Thank you for your time, Bryant.
ed note–It’s unfortunate that you have misunderstood the point we are trying to make with the very specific use of ‘GAAAAWD’ rather than just ‘God’.
‘GAAAAWD’ of course is the deity of both Jews and Christian Zionists. He is the vengeful, jealous, violent, racist, irrational, and at times ridiculous creature who appears as a 900 foot tall Jesus (as once claimed by Oral Roberts) and the one who causes Hurricane Katrina to hit the gulf coast of the US because of the Bush administration being in favor of Israel pulling out of Gaza. He is the creature who appears in all of John Hagee’s loud, theatrical and ridiculous sermons and who sits with a six pack of GAAAAWD beer and a bag of GAAAAWD pork rinds and watches with glee as innocent people are slaughtered in Gaza, the West Bank, Libya, Syria, Iraq, etc, and who really, really wants to see a nuclear war get started between the US and Russia.
His nemesis, the ‘God’ of Jesus and Mohammed, is the exact opposite, and this ‘God’ is never treated with disrespect on this site.
“Those who now the difference between good and evil must die..” Or something like that. It’s the difference of knowledge between the real God and the Demiurge, the latter being a vile creature bend on destruction and annihilation of humanity- That is those not chosen by him to do his work.
Both Christianity & Islam were started from Jewish converts. Christianity was founded on better promises I was always told growing up. IF Judea & Samaria existed they were 2 divisions of ancient Palestine (the 3rd being Galilee) and were short period in Palestinian history.
