“Both men are honest”?!? Really?!? This statement is false as far as Beinart is concerned.
He strings a lot of lies there, eg., his concern with a hypothetical return of the Palestinian refugees is that they would displace the Bedouins sitting on the ruins of Palestinian villages?! Pull my other leg, Beinart. He starts off with a lie by talking about “the Partition of Israel/Palestine.” There was no such thing. There was the Partition of Palestine.
Even an accurate expression of their intentions and views — seen often with Netanyahu, his ministers and manny rabbis — cannot be characterized as “honest.” The difference between the Jewish “Right” and “Left” is not honesty vs dishonesty but rather between hypocrisy and gall.
I think Atzmon confuses honesty with cynical chutzpah. Beinart scores low on the chutzpah scale; he is weighted down by hypocrisy.

Most convincing book I ever read is ‘The controversy of Zion’ by Douglas Reed. Completed in 1956.
Thanks for the “progressive” Jew warning. Won’t watch. Stomach too weak.
Reed’s book is outstanding and one to give those just catching on to who’s who.
