Zionist Union co-leader MK Tzipi Livni slammed the announcement of the formation of Israel’s new government Wednesday night, asserting that it “is not good for Israel.”
“When it’s said that a government of 61 [seats] is not good, they are wrong. What isn’t good is the government itself,” Livni wrote on Facebook Wednesday night, adding that “the government announced tonight is not good for Israel in its manner, worldview, values, objectives.”
Livni, who previously served as justice minister, continued to say that the 61-seat coalition was in fact good for the state as its slim majority would lead to its replacement by “a government that will lead Israel on its way.”
Her part in the Olmert/Livni duo in criminally assaulting Gaza in 08/09 I think weighs heavily on her, but at the time she was younger, and still wanting to fully express her raw Judaism, that being her intense upbringing.
Netanyahu is very very different, he thrives on mass murder, ululates it, gripped by a euphoria during the course of it. Very dangerous man to the planet’s future.
Better she be PM, as she would transition Israel from a murderous state to a modern state, making a healthy accommodation with the countries of the region – including Iran.
Of course, the nut cases there – Torah imbued, would conspire to do her in unless she has a good security detail at all times.
