Reform movement, HIAS say number of Syrians allowed into US must be considerably higher in light of crisis
ed note–Judaic hypocrisy knows no bounds. They create the problem, refuse to take in any refugees themselves and then lecture others when they don’t ‘do enough’.

Two US Jewish organizations said the Obama administration’s offer to absorb at least 10,000 Syrian refugees over the next year was inadequate.
“Increasing the total number of refugees from 70,000 to 85,000 for next year and to 100,000 for the year after is a nice symbolic gesture,” Mark Hetfield, the president of HIAS, a Jewish group that assists in refugee resettlement and advocates for immigration reform, said Sunday in a statement. “It is a baby step in the right direction. But it is not leadership.”
The Reform movement also said in a statement Monday that Secretary of State John Kerry’s proposed numbers did not meet the mark.
“The new admission numbers remain insufficient considering the scope of the crisis at hand,” said Rabbi Jonah Pesner, the director of the Reform’s Religious Action Center.
Kerry, meeting Sunday in Berlin with his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, announced the increases in the maximum number of refugees that the United States allows in and said “at least” 10,000 of them would be Syrian.
HIAS has joined a number of former Obama administration officials in calling on the United States to accept 100,000 Syrian refugees above the refugee ceiling.
“If Germany can open its doors to 800,000 asylum seekers, the US, with a population four times the size of Germany and a history as a nation of immigrants and refugees, we can take 100,000 Syrian refugees in 2016, on top of the 70,000 refugees fleeing other countries during this global refugee crisis, the largest since the World War II,” Hetfield said.
Kerry in his news conference said that vetting the Syrians for terrorists limited the number the United States could take in.
“We want to take more,” he said. “We understand the responsibility. We would like to. But taking folks out of Syria for us at least, given our law right now post-9/11, requires a very specific vetting security process.”
The American Jewish Committee separately announced that it was providing funds and staff to assist KIS, the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece, and IsraAID, an umbrella group for Israeli aid groups, which are ministering to Syrian refugees in Greece.

Try as I might, I feel no urge to laugh at “Judaic hypocrisy”.
Actually I don’t see this as hypocrisy.
I see it as:
1. sarcasm at Western hypocrisy, the implication being that Christian values really count for nothing;
2. deception, not only at this time, but during the whole war on terror, including the long build-up before 9/11;
3. malevolence towards all non-Jews – the more powerful their societies, the more intense the hatred and ill will; and
4. malice towards enemies – the intention to harm and eventually enslave or destroy.
None of these motivate me to amusement or laughter. 2, 3 and 4 actually terrify me.
1 disgusts me because – in that respect – they are correct in their assessment.
A question for Westerners to seriously consider: which would you prefer: slavery or destruction. Those are your options in God’s plan.
All other non-Jews: take note.
If you carefully look at what’s going on, God’s plan seems to be progressing quite nicely.
You can laugh out loud at that if you feel so inclined.

HIAS is not “HIAS, a Jewish group that assists in refugee resettlement and advocates for immigration reform”– which might be taken to mean assisting ANY refugees. It is the acronym for Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society and its mission has always been helping Jews emigrate from and immigrate into whatever countries they switched. They have helped organize campaigns that always presented the Jews in need of such “aid” as woefully oppressed in their countries of origin, as they did the Soviet Jews in the 70s. In reality, the Soviet Jews’ “oppression” — principally being refused permission to emigrate — was identical to the treatment ALL Soviet citizens received in those years. No Russian was allowed to emigrate and also no Russian would have had the effrontery to claim he wanted to … “repatriate” to some country from where his ancestors allegedly originated.
HIAS has always been about Jews and only Jews but now it has also joined the Jewish-led refugee ploy, beating their chests like the humanitarians they are about sending the refugees anywhere in Western Europe and the US, just not in Israel.
the more they “israel” depopulate Syria the easier and less people they have to murder to take Syrian land
Yes israel wants land of Syria and the refugees can go any where un the world just they have to go away or to die it doesn’t make any difference the jews want an empty land
