CHIEFEST APOSTLES – 2 Corinthians 11:5
“For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.”
2 Corinthians 12:11; “I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for
I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very
chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.”
WHO ARE THESE CHIEFEST APOSTLES? You hear them today as those super
prophets with super in speech of the bible but in reality they are not
knowledgeable in God’s spirit of understanding. They are false apostles.
2 Corinthians 11:13(15,19); “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,
transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.”
They seem to be ministers of righteousness and can easily lead many astray
(verse 15) transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. Paul decides
to NOT take any wages from those he ministers the gospel to seeing that they
had another Jesus, another Spirit and another gospel. He loved them but in this
case he wanted to avoid offences since he was now rude in telling them the
truth of the hypocrisy they were now in. (19) They had willingly placed
themselves in bondage to wrong doctrines by placing themselves under the
false teachers to lord over them.
False teachers will rob you of the supernatural resources of God that are
available to you. Do they establish mass marketing of themselves? Has it
married God’s spirit with those in authority? Has it become a business and is
there a mixture of beliefs within? Christ cannot have a whole mixture for Acts
2:1 says they were all in one accord. That means they all had one mind in what
those beliefs were. False teachers will get you away from that thinking and in
doing so you lose and are easy prey now to any beliefs. Especially a works
salvation ministry where one is taught that to be a Christian they must show
works.
Romans 16:17/1 Timothy 1:3/1 Timothy 4:13 says we are to keep in ONE
doctrine and Romans 11:6 says that WORKS and grace cannot mix.
Are you mixing with those that believe in another gospel? Satan would have you
do that. Keep to the KJV bible and learn the scriptures by God not read what
others would have you believe.
They will rule you and have the authority to back them up.
