In his letter, he asserts that Bush & Cheney took USA war oil. No. It was for Israeli hegemony. The oil was the bait; he never understood the switch. Makes his death even more tragic. Either way, he was sold on a lie. RIP.
Sad. Sad that a culture can be so sublimely ignorant as to dash off to slaughter/die, NOT FOR MOM AND APPLE PIE! No, for AIPAC, for the City of London, Wall Street the filthy swine in congress/Executive branches. I read about this, meet those suckered into it but I simply cannot muster any sympathy. You see, “our boys” had a choice. To weigh the evidence and decide. The Iraqis, Libyans, Afghanis, Pakistanis…. the Palestinians, THEY HAVE NO CHOICE! Every ounce of sympathy I have is bled out for them Educate yourselves as to the vileness of this cesspool and perhaps pass it along to those all set to slaughter for Israel/AIPAC/Jews.

Touching letter, but I don’t care much for a web page that that was set up as a memorial to Tomas Young. It’s an online guest book. Many people (perhaps most) include the words “Thank you for your service, and “Thank you for defending our freedoms,” and so forth.
Uh…yeah.
Tomas Young joined the army at age 22 because he had no future in Bush’s America. I joined the military for the same reason, but that was before Bush and the “war on terror.” Anyway, Tomas Young hoped to earn enough money for college via a plan in which the US Army matches your own contribution to a special account. But five days after he arrived in Iraq, he was paralyzed. He returned home to Kansas City Missouri and joined the Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW). He later became a public critic of the War on Iraq. In 2008 he suffered a brain injury from a blood clot, which completed his paralysis.
And now that he has chosen to end his life by refusing his feeding tube. Sadly, we see all the lies that seduce young men into throwing themselves to the death machine.
“Thank you for your service,” people write. Service to what? Politicians and weapons makers?
“Thank you for defending our freedoms.” Defending from what? People on the other side of the planet with hand-held rifles?
Tomas Young was against the war that took his life. These empty platitudes are an insult.

Incidentally, how many Jews have become US soldiers like Tomas Young? Any? I doubt it.

As a disabled Viet Nam Vet, Veterans Day is the worse day of the year for me, The local daily Billings Gazette (BG) is filled with all this Jingoist heaven, blood ‘n guts Glory for old Glory propaganda. This VD issue has a backlit photo of this man on prosthetic speaking to a Jr. Hi about his Pride of Service… i must get Equal time.

When ‘they’ say that i’m polite but it tell ‘um, Yes, i was in the Service to maim kill and destroy innocent populations for corporate greed IE ~ The US Statagon along w/ the other two branches of government, Wall St & K-Street hell bent (Neo-liberal style) for World Hegemony via Full Spectrum Dominance… pretty much like that… they are shocked. Even those ‘vets’ that give a handshake and “Welcome Home” ~ i’m speechless ~ but not for long.
In all of this Izrahell being a bloodsucking parasitic narcissistic leech has attached itself to the outer hull of ‘meriKKa like some parasite, but not far from the pilot quarters ~

One thing i’m mystified about is this dude Tomas ‘s view of Iran… What am i missing ~ does anyone here think Iran is this world domination seeker?

No, Tomas was saying that the USA is constantly making threats against Iran, and yet the USA supports the Shi’ite government in Baghdad, which is pro-Iran, and which is indeed brutal and corrupt. It does indeed use torture, terror, and death squads. Against who? The Sunnis.
The minority Sunnis in Iraq have been exterminated and marginalized. When they finally rose up in a desperate bid to avoid extinction, the USA called them “ISIS,” and started bombing them.

I agree with NLG, Tomas Young never quite connected the dots leading to the hidden hand of Israel. Maybe, just maybe, had he made that one connection, he wouldn’t have been quite as suicidal as he appeared to be.
