Leonard Cohen Dead at 82. Wow, that is a big death. Christ, they are ALL dropping off the perch. ALL the baby boomer cultural heroes. All ending up or headed ‘tout suite’ for the knackers yard. And it was meant to last forever fer chrissakes!! Oh dear.
He really did have a dream run though, didn’t he. Recording and playing virtually until the very end. Women still swooning in the aisles. Tearing up as he sang ‘dance me to the end of love’. Magic. Or was it magick? Dunno. Anybody that gets a song about orgasm played at funerals qualifies as some kinda black magician I reckon.
Meanwhile, back in dreamtime … “Paul Krugman Says Markets Will ‘Never’ Recover From Trump; Dow Hits Record High”
