Political correctness and identity politics are the primary means by which truth is concealed, thinking is stifled and free speech is neutralized.
European philosophers in the 70s and 80s predicted that this form of insidious self-censorship would be the future of social control and would replace the more overt forms of authoritarian social control.
Ironically it is the left which is at the forefront of this self-censorship crusade. Truth is overlooked and frowned upon because it might hurt someone’s fragile feelings. Real economic problems and concrete power relations centered on wealth and class are ignored in favour of an abstract discourse about race and gender.
A rich white man has much more in common with a rich black man or a rich woman that he has with a poor white man. But identity politics brushes all this aside and abstractly lumps the white men, the black men and the women in separate antagonistic groups.
It is the regressive left that creates divisions in society by constantly racializing and genderizing every social phenomenon, while the real economic forces that shape society are actively ignored. This situation is an indication of the quasi complete collapse of independent thinking in universities and the MSM.
College campuses and the media have become mindless echo-chambers where the the dogmas of mainstream ideological conformism are endlessly repeated by an army of undiscerning self-righteous zombies.
Those same zombies are the people who think that a corrupt warmongering two-faced uncharismatic screeching witch bankrolled by the big banks and the arms industry is a “good” candidate to lead the United States.
The reason they like her is because they couldn’t care less about real things like the financial and arms industry, her disastrous foreign policy or her flagrant corruption. What they care about is that she is a woman who started supporting gay marriage just a few years ago when it became politically expedient for her to do so, and because she opportunistically embraced the politically correct identity politics slogans that mindless self-righteous oblivious zombies love to hear.
Trump represents the insurrection of the American people against the tyranny of political correctness. A gust of fresh air has swept across America and the whole world but the zombies are too woozy to realize it. The stuffy oxygen-deficient air of the last 10 years has dulled their sense and perhaps given them brain damage.

An Israeli Cabinet minister has called for a renewed wave of settlement construction now that President-elect Donald Trump is signaling an end to longstanding White House opposition to the settlements.
Science Minister Ofir Akunis told Army Radio Thursday that, “We need to think how we move forward now when the administration in Washington, the Trump administration and his advisers, are saying that there is no place for a Palestinian state.”
Earlier, Jason Greenblatt, one of Trump’s advisers on Israel, told Army Radio that Trump doesn’t believe settlement activity should be condemned and doesn’t view the settlements as an obstacle to peace with the Palestinians.
Multiple U.S. administrations have condemned any construction on land captured by Israel in the 1967 war — land that Palestinians want for a future state.
