RAW is operating on the foot prints of CIA and MOSSAD and is functional as a “state with in a state” in India. The RAW functionaries are neither answerable to their parliament nor to the Chief Executive of the country (Prime Minister of India). RAW is also not dependent on financial assistance from Indian Government.
