by tacit admission, he is neither a musician nor singer but someone whose sole claim to uniqueness is spectacular mediocrity (“mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most mediocre of them all?”, “it is thou, moby, thou hast no rival in the flat and dreary fields of futility”).
just look at him and adam schiff … what leftover meat looks like after devil asset stripped their soul away years ago.
According to wiki, this guy was given the name Richard Melville Hall at birth and his mother was a “medical secretary” and his father a “chemistry professor” who died when Richard (Moby) was 2 years old because he had a drunk driving accident. “Moby” lived in Darien, CT with his mother after the father died. Darien is one of the toniest towns in all of spookville CT.
Herman Melville (the putative author of the novel “Moby Dick”) was Richard’s many times removed great uncle. The mother’s family had the wealth. Her name was Elizabeth McBride Warner. As the NY Times tells it (link below) Moby went to live in the Warner family home when his father died.
According to the NY Times article, the mother was a “devoted hippie” and a “sometime secretary” who took “Moby” to San Francisco to live in 1969. That was the height of the CIA funded and directed ‘sex-drugs-rock & roll’ ‘cultural’ ‘revolution’.It would be a great place for a woman who came from wealth to raise her son, don’t ya think? Or was Ms. McBride Warner ‘on assignment’? We are to believe he and his mother fell on some hard times when they returned to Connecticut and that he was on food stamps until he was 18 years of age. We are also to believe that he was living hand to mouth in Manhattan when he moved out of Connecticut. The Times pretends that he’s a heterosexual 51 year old who is waiting for the ‘right woman’ which is insulting.
As Frances Stonor Saunders ‘revealed’ in her book, “The Cultural Cold War – The C.I.A. and the World of Arts”, the intelligence agencies, most especially the CIA have been running ‘popular’ ‘culture’ from the beginning, so this little interview by “Moby” is no revelation at all. The question is, why is “Moby” now permitted to talk about what has been obvious for so long?
