mark, I believe you are confused about what happens to iran, when…in the short term, iran must be used as the hostility that will vastly depopulate that world for the false-messiah…so, yes, their tunes is being called for them, and that is, ‘Mahdi is coming’…but I believe you are mistaken to think that is not exactly the tune that has been nurtured to be here at this time so the ‘powers that be’ can USE them to go to war with the Sunni’s who will be lead by their ‘calif’ at that time….(also, Christian eschatology would inform you that the ‘king of the east’ (probably iran) does not come into the fight until the eleventh hour…why?…because by that time iran will see what they have been, and are being set up to see, that it is either shia Mahdi or sunni Mahdi, and the sunni calif will be leading the war on behalf of the west against what will certainly be called, ‘shia extremism’)…this is how the ‘ zionist’ (read false messiah) can accomplish their goal of watching islam destroy itself before they come in to sweep up the mess. but none of you talked about the most POTENT topic of all…ISRAEAL IS DEFEATED in everyone’s eschatology…so these best laid plans fail ultimately at the return of the true Messiah who supports (and saves) the true Mahdi…but before that happens, Israel is conquered and decimated, God saving only a ‘remnant’…when does this happen? you talk about the false messiah claiming, ‘I am messiah’, but when?…obviously before Israel is defeated…so how does that happen AFTER the ‘great war’, which in Christian eschatology FOLLOWS the defeat of Israel?to reconcile the two eschatologies; a calif rises for the sunnis and unites them (the first seal of revelation, the white horse…a righteous warrior given a crown of honor)…’he goes forth conquering and to conquer’…who? I say, ‘the extremists’ and the world loves him…he provides for the state of Israel to rebuild their temple next to the dome of the rock and proposes that we all worship the same God…he has all the support and weapons of the west…half way through the seven year covenant to rebuild the temple, this calif of islam claims himself MESSIAH of the jews, and the war with Israel results in Israel’s destruction…now the false messiah must fight turkey (gog) and iran (shia force, perhaps claiming by that time that they are led by Mahdi)…this is what leads to the ‘great war’ that will be fought by kings from the whole earth (russsa, china, usa, Europe, india)…it is leading up to this war that the true Mahdi arrises and is eventually cornered…but Jesus returns to save the righteous muslims following their Mahdi, and the righteous jews disclaiming the false messiah and by that time knowing that Jesus is the true messiah. how it is that the slaughtering takes place of the kings and armies of the earth, I don’t know…but I do know that revelation, and what little I know of Islamic eschatology from sheikh hossein, demonstrates that stuff is falling from the sky…earthquakes, hail, meteors, volcanoes. seems most of the destruction described in the book of revelation is destruction of this kind.

The trenches they are digging will serve as their graves — for many of them anyway.
