Twitter’s permanent ban is an important symbolic gesture.

ed note–again, keep in mind that Jones is not being targeted because he is a genuine threat to the–

‘NEW WORLD ORDER!!!!’

–as he likes to refer to it…

His case–much like other characters who have enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame within the ‘alternative’ media courtesy of Judea, Inc’s deliberate decision to put them front and center–is one where he was brought high so that when he was dropped like the proverbial hot potato, he fell hard and in a very loud and dramatic manner that was seen/heard by all. Furthermore, Jones was an extremely useful tar baby who was constantly utilized in causing political headaches for Trump both before and after the election.

Jones’ fall from grace and the present build-up to the big KABOOM when the jury finds in favor of the plaintiffs to the tune of several millions of dollars is very similar to what was done with Andrew Anglin and Daily Stormer. The JMSM raised Anglin up and gave him weekly media coverage worldwide in the interests of reinforcing their own narrative vis a vis the ‘unhinged, ugly, & uneducated’ nature of Neo-nazis and ‘anti-Shemites’, and then, once he had served their purposes, was shut down in terms of regular web access.

Jones–while obviously scripted in a slightly different fashion, nevertheless received similar treatment in that he was typecast as the paranoid conspiracy theorist whose unhealthy attachment to ‘alternative’ information made him a candidate for the nuthouse. The entire ‘Sandy Hook never happened’ nonsense that is now slated to be Jones’ undoing was created and cultivated expressly for that purpose, a psyop which Jones himself swallowed whole hog in the interests not  only of pleasing his followers but as well, padding his wallet.

Again, given as obvious as it all was, any real ‘movement’ patting itself on the back as somehow being smarter than the general public could have/should have seen this hurricane coming from a mile away, and the fact that only a handful did see it and–what’s worse–were roundly ignored when they duly warned the rest underscores just how much a day late and dollar short such a movement really is.

Even worse than this is the fact that there are still people at this very moment who refuse to recognize the reality of the situation for what it is, similar in many respects to that herd of zombies making up the bulk of the American public who cannot/will not see that 9/11 was done for the express purposes of starting WWIII.

We’ve said it often and it bears repeating–No one ever accused the Jews of being stupid.

The Atlantic

On Thursday, Twitter permanently banned Alex Jones, after the prominent conspiracy theorist violated the platform’s policies on abusive behavior by tweeting out a video of himself heckling the CNN reporter Oliver Darcy.

“We took this action based on new reports of Tweets and videos posted yesterday that violate our abusive behavior policy, in addition to the accounts’ past violations,” the company announced via Twitter.

This is not the first time Jones has run afoul of the company’s community guidelines. In early August, Twitter’s CEO, Jack Dorsey, defended his company’s decision not to remove Jones from the platform—despite mounting pressure to ban him—by claiming Jones hadn’t violated any rules. After CNN’s Oliver Darcy noted several instances of what appeared to be clear policy violations, Twitter forced Jones to delete the tweets but allowed him to remain on the platform. Several weeks later, users reported Jones for encouraging Periscope viewers to get their “battle rifles” ready and he finally suffered a week-long “time out” before his account was reinstated. But Thursday’s ban is comprehensive, and permanent—if Jones attempts to start any new accounts, the company will automatically shut them down.

“We will continue to evaluate reports we receive regarding other accounts potentially associated with @realalexjones or @infowars and will take action if content that violates our rules is reported or if other accounts are utilized in an attempt to circumvent their ban,” the company wrote.

Twitter’s enforcement actions have always been opaque, and it’s easy to be skeptical of the motivations behind this one. After all, Twitter’s move came after years of Jones using his platform to propagate conspiracy theories about Sandy Hook, Pizzagate, undocumented immigrants, the media, and more—but only weeks after virtually every other major platform took action against him, and a single day after Jones very publicly disrupted hearings attended by Dorsey.

But still: This a definitive stance after years of inaction and half-measures by a company that has long prided itself on being “the free-speech wing of the free-speech party.” It’s an inescapable restriction on a figure who has become adept at toeing the line of what’s allowed while leveraging the platform to spread racist and dangerous views.

And maybe it’ll work. After previously claiming that bans from Twitter and Facebook would only make him “stronger,” Jones saw traffic to his website plunge after the bans took effect, a sign many have taken to mean that de-platforming extremists is an effective solution for curbing their influence. Twitter is a particularly valuable platform for Jones because it allows—allowed—him access to the mainstream media, and to new customers for the web store that makes up a great deal of his revenue.

In 2016, the far-right provocateur and former Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos was permanently banned from Twitter after waging a harassment campaign against the actress Leslie Jones. Last October, the former Trump adviser Roger Stone received a ban from Twitter for harassing and threatening several CNN anchors and commentators. In November, Twitter banned Tim Gionet, a far-right former BuzzFeed employee who went by the username @BakedAlaska, for making repeated threats and racist comments. As the New Statesman noted last month, Google searches for Gionet’s name dropped significantly after he was banned from Twitter. Alex Jones is a bigger public figure than Gionet ever was, but he’s now lost his last remaining mainstream platform. It’s a step.

  1. I don’t know much of the details on what Alex Jones was banned for but I’ve seen lots of comments on YouTube that are clearly racist, sexist and abusive in other ways and censorship is not applied against them. I’ve been shadow banned by them for months now but I keep posting there anyway anticipating some time the public will grow an attitude against social media platform censorship of the unjustified type. The shadow ban against me is unjustified. I don’t resort to name calling or abusive language in my evaluations. What I’m composing now is typical of the non-abusive language I apply. I guess I’m guilty of speculating on a Zionist hand behind 911. Also of quoting Genesis 10 (Noah’s nations) in the bible which says Ashkenazi descend from Noah’s son Japheth and his son Gomer and not from Noah’s other son Shem thus they are NOT Shemite Israelites but rather they are Japhethite/Gomerite Gentiles posing as Shemites (Semites). They even say they have DNA evidence they are Semites but you can find links that say DNA evidence can be fabricated. If this bible verse is not true then the bible has to be dismissed as anti-Semitic. Wouldn’t that create a row. lol.
How do I know I’m shadow banned since YouTube deceptively (deceiving spirits) hides my intended public comments from public view without notifying me that they have done so? I first suspected it when I stopped seeing replies to my comments. I email to others video links with titles and with copies of my comments in the body of the email. The recipients consistently don’t find the comments of mine they see in the email in the comments sections of the video links. Although the legal beagles say social media platforms have the right to do with their private property as they wish private property rights should not include the right to commit crimes on such property. Shadow banning is fraud and fraud is a crime as far as I can tell. It is fraud because social media offers a public platform and then secretly denies that offer on a whim. That’s like a store offering a door crasher sale and then denying that offer when the customers arrive. What a stinking, dirty, lying thing to do. Shadow banning is deception, LYING… that’s fraud.
